Mark Lawrence - My Story

I created this page to give my views on current world events, and answers I've given to some of the emails I've received since writing on Bible prophecy. At the age of 30, I became a Christian on approx. Jan. 3, 2007 after a series of unexpected events that would make a chilling Hollywood movie. After the events that occurred to me in early Jan. 2007, I now write solely on Bible prophecy, and that events are unfolding in the world that will likely lead to a nuclear attack on one or more U.S. cities (Revelation 17:15-19, Revelation 18) and rapture of the Christian church (Revelation 18:4).

Beware radical Islam; and not just Al-Qaida. Beware Hezbollah.

If you still find this hard to believe, consider that FBI Director Robert Mueller recently confirmed the claims made in FBI consultant Paul Williams' book, titled The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World, where he says Al Qaida is planning nuclear attacks on 7 U.S. cities.

PAY ATTENTION: That 'spectacular attack' Al Qaida was reported in world news to be planning on America last summer... That 'gut feeling' that Michael Chertoff has about an Al-Qaida attack – may be multiple nuclear detonations.

'Religous Nut' or 'Called by God'?

My story...

My collision with Jesus Christ actually began six years ago, when I had a dream late one night (what many would call a vision) of a horrifying world event that took place a few hours later. As I slammed into a downtown skyscraper at incredible speed, I woke up from my dream screaming in terror. Of course, the event that took place a few hours later was 9/11.

What a crazy morning that was, waking up to two planes taking out the Twin Towers. On top of that, I thought my head was going to pop, as I tried to figure out how I could possibly dream it before it happened.

I had a dream of 9/11 before it happened.

This was strange and did not make any sense.

Why me? Was I psychic?...

There was no way it could have been from God (I thought at the time) as I was not living a Christian life. I was 24 years old, and living the life of a wreckless twenty-something who was trying to make it as a writer, but had numerous legal problems caused by alcohol and partying and basically running with the wrong crowd.

But that was that. I didn't have any further dreams and chalked it up to some kind of 'cosmic accident'. I mentioned it to a couple close friends, and eventually didn't think much of it.

Until five years later. I had three more dreams (visions) in the early months of 2006 that really made me question what was going on in the world – It made me question reality and the nature of God; I finally started to ask God WHAT he wanted from us. There were so many religions with so many people claiming so many different things, I didn't know what I was supposed to believe.

I wasn't religious, but suddenly these dreams had me online doing a wide search for answers, and brought me across quite a few New Age websites – suddenly, I thought I had it figured out – I thought that someone from the 'other side' was trying to make contact with me; something similiar to the movie Ghost or the television show Medium.

But who?

I don't bring any preconceived notions to my study of the Bible. I only write what I feel the Holy Spirit reveals to me from reading scripture. I only seek to write truth.

Four months ago I didn't know if the rapture was real or not real and was more focused on the back-page news reports that radical Islam is preparing to attack America with nuclear weapons and that our government is making preparations for the 'day after' the blast; studying scripture its clear to me that these attacks WILL happen; it's also clear to me that the rapture of the Christian church is a real event, and will happen either right before or as these nuclear attacks occur.

If you're new to SecretsofSurvival.com, here are some links to solid evidence that Bible prophecy is unfolding:

WND: Iran leader: Islam to 'rule the world'

WND: Iran prepares people for 'messiah miracles'

NEWSMAX: The Apocalyptic Vision of Iranian President Ahmadinejad

BOOKS: AntiChrist - Islam's Awaited Messiah

What's interesting is that in the days after publishing the article on the rapture, I received two emails from Christians who claimed to have dreamed what I believe will take place, as described in Revelation 18:4 – that is that the rapture occurs just moments before a nuclear attack on New York City, or as a series of nuclear attacks take place in NYC and other U.S. cities.

Joel 2:28 - After this I will pour out my Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophecy, your old men will have dreams and your young men will have visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.

What do the President of Iran and a 666 cult have in common?

Answer: The AntiChrist

Earlier this year CNN announced that a cult that began in the 1980s, well known for tattoing themselves with the number '666' now claims that appearances and miracles by the AntiChrist will be made soon. Jose De Jesus Miranda, the pastor with 666 tattoo claims that he himself is divine, says he learned he was Jesus reincarnate when he was visited in a dream by angels.

CNN: Pastor with 666 tattoo says he is Jesus reincarnate.

Here's why you should be worried:

WorldNetDaily reports that the President of Iran is saying something VERY SIMILIAR to the 666 cult, however that it's the '12th Imam Holy to Islam' that will be making appearances, and according to Iranian radio, has even offered dates that it will appear.

WND: Iran prepares people for 'messiah miracles'

He has the entire country of Iran in such a buzz that he's even set up a toll free hot line that Iranians can call for information on the 'Mahdi'.

Newsflash from America and Europe:

In New Age circles, there is heated buzz of figures from the 'other side' also making an appearance...

And in UFO circles, with probably hundreds of millions of believers around the world, talk is also the same.

So what do all these groups have in common? They claim to be in touch with gods (Iran), aliens (UFO followers), and / or beings (666 cult) that are promising to reveal themselves to the world shortly.

Read that again.

Here's a serious wake up call for all you non-Christians – it just so happens that the most dangerous man in the world today, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who the U.S. is currently in a nuclear standoff with and who is believed to be behind 80% of the world's terrorist attacks, claims to be in contact with the Muslim messiah, the hidden 12th Imam.

He's been telling his country that the 12th Imam is coming and to get ready for 'messiah miracles' and the destruction of the West. He even claims that Jesus Christ is coming with the 12th Imam, but that Jesus is his 'lieutenant'.

Can you say 'AntiChrist'?

How many clues does the world need to realize that events from the book of Revelation are unfolding fast?

The fact that we can actually *see this happening* means that the events prophecied to occur in the Bible (which I keep saying begins with a nuclear attack and fall of the United States) are beginning to take place.

Hindu Prayer said at U.S. Senate on July 12, 2007

Was this the 'abomination that causes desolation' prophecied in the Bible?

Mark 13:14 - "When you see 'the abomination that causes desolation' standing where it does not belong – let the reader understand – then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains... Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak... Pray that this will not take place in winter, because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again."

Look closely at the passage above. The words marked in red, "let the reader understand", mean that there is more meaning to this passage than meets the eye.

So, perhaps it's not actually Judea that Jesus was talking about – perhaps he was talking about America.

On Thursday, July 12, the Associated Press reports that a Hindu clergyman made history by offering the Senate's morning prayer, which until that day the morning prayer had always been said to God.

Look closely at the words of this Hindu prayer:

"We meditate on the transcendental glory of the Deity Supreme, who is inside the Earth, inside the life of the sky, and inside the soul of the heaven. May he stimulate and illuminate our minds."

Here's a newsflash, America:

The Bible is very clear. There are no other gods, except God. The gods that other religions pray to, are demons impersonating gods. That's what the Bible says.

So, on Thursday, July 12, the United States Senate began the day by praying to Satan.

The U.S. Senate just broke the First Commandment in a major way:

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Ok, was this the 'abomination that causes desolation'?

It may not be the same 'abomination' spoken of in Daniel 9:27 and Daniel 12:11, however it is still a clear 'abomination' in God's eyes, and may be the final catalyst to his wrath as it comes at a very convenient time:

Considering that Michael Chertoff's (Director of Homeland Security) "gut feeling" that the U.S. is going to suffer a terrorist attack this summer (that Al-Qaida claims will be "spectacular"), which may be a nuclear detonation in one or more U.S. cities (Bin Laden likes to do things in multiples).

NEWSMAX: Chertoff's ‘gut feeling' could be a nuclear detonation

Deuteronomy 8:19-20 - If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed. Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God.

Mark 13:14-18 - "...let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains... Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak... Pray that this will not take place in winter, because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now—and never to be equaled again."

Daniel 12 and the rapture of the church

"At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.

But at that time your people – everyone whose name is found written in the book – will be delivered. Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt..."

...I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what will the outcome of all this be?"

He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand."

The church I attend recently showed the new documentary Epicenter, which is based on the non-fiction book by Joel Rosenberg and calls attention to the Russian ties to Iran and Syria, the long-awaited Muslim messiah who the President of Iran promises will destroy the West, and lead to Islamic rule over the entire world, and that the Bible in fact prophecies this in Ezekiel 38 and 39.

It also touches on the nightmare scenario of radical Islam using nuclear weapons on the United States.

There are some, including this writer, who believe that a nuclear attack could in fact happen in 2007 (refer to articles listed on home page).

The fact is, according to Ezekiel 38 and 39, all the cards are also in place for an attack on Israel that appears to coincide with an attack on the U.S., described in Ezekiel 38:11 as a nation of 'unwalled villages'.

Which is why there's a ton of interest in Joel Rosenberg's book in the Christian community right now.

This could be the event that starts the infamous 7 year tribulation and the unveiling of the AntiChrist, which many are starting to realize is the 'Muslim Messiah' who the President of Iran claims to be in contact with:

1) Bible prophecy of Ezekiel 38 and 39 unfolding as you read this...

Fundamentalist Christians believe that as a result of the upcoming war between Israel and Syria through Hezbollah, that Iran will collaborate with Russia and other Arab nations as described in Ezekiel 38 and 39 to invade Israel, and launch attacks on the United States (nation of 'unwalled villages').

What's alarming is that war between Israel and Syria is shaping up to occur this summer:

WND: Damascus preparing for large-scale conflict.

AND...

Russia is actively collaborating with Iran, Syria, and Venezuela on arms sales.

AND...

Russian President Vladmir Putin has a dark side that the world is just starting to see a glimpse of... Fellow Russians who oppose him are reported to 'disappear' and the journalists that investigate these disappearances also 'disappear' (more on this below...)

Emails I've received...

Email: Your predictions are disgustingly violent; your god is violent--and you're causing wild fears, and ensuing violence, to fester and spread. Think about what you're doing. Do you need to set things right with your Daddy or Mommy? What is it exactly??

Reply: Would you have condemned reporters if they had predicted that 9/11 was going to happen?

What if you knew the neighbor kid planned to shoot up his school and kill students? Would you write a letter warning the school, or even better, call the police and report the evidence so people would act on it?

If you look closely at what I write, you will see credible evidence that our nation is at a very high threat of terrorist attack, that will be far bigger than 9/11.

Regarding my 'violent god', God isn't violent - God deals justly with evil. You can't give evil a hug and kiss and hope it will stop raping, murdering, and robbing.

No, you create a place called Hell, as God did, and you deal with evil justly, as God promises throughout the Bible.

If you read the Old Testament, you'll see that God has a history of destroying nations that commit evil, such as Sodom and Gommorah. This is never a surprise. God always gives the people a clear warning to repent, which some do and are saved from wrath. However, those who don't repent, and continue in their evil, are dealt with, as God promises.

Emails I've received...

Email: Just another so called prophet you are, prophecies come true. Prophecies which do not come true I done recon are false prophecies, and I hope for your your sake you are right. You see my freind if you are wrong I tell you what you just mislead scores of people. Make sure you are 100% right because if you are truly wrong, you are not much better that a would be prophet who has lived in the past. We know that God holds all predicators of prophecies truly accountable, and there is much at stake here.

Reply: First of all, note that I'm only a humble Christian (as all faithful Christians are) with a passion to spread my understanding of Bible prophecy and how I believe it's playing out in current events.

For example, the article Is Christ's Return Imminent? Shocking Evidence for the Timing of the Christian Rapture

This article reflects my understanding of Scripture. Yes God has given me the Holy Spirit, and I pray daily that the Spirit will guide me in truth. But I know that there are other Christians and who also claim to have the Holy Spirit, who don't necessarily agree with my understanding of the Bible.

It's possible that God does that for a reason. He may give some of us different understandings of the Bible. For example, we end up with Christians who don't agree on the timing of the rapture.

When I mention having had a handful of 'dreams and visions', what I feel may be the most important 'vision' is talked about in one of my articles: Rick Warren and the 'End Times' Apostasy

However, two months ago, my wife had a dream.

We had been arguing early in the evening, and she was convinced that Al-Qaida did not have the resources to pull off a nuclear attack on America. I believed they could, with the right help from foreign nations, but I couldn't convince her.

That night she had a dream. She was standing in the Middle East, in the desert, and there were Middle Easterners wearing their traditional garb, and they were praying, and they were very, very focused. They also appeared to have been digging something, and they were also pushing up a frame of wood.

In the dream, the Middle Easterners were praying one word out loud, over and over: Hezbollah. And it was repeated, over and over and over again. It was the only word that was said the entire dream. HEZBOLLAH. Then she woke up.

Now, I hadn't told her anything about the terrorist group Hezbollah, and she had no idea who they were.

When I heard about the dream the next day, I filled her in on who they are (she'd also gone online and read about them), and I realized that God (I hope it was God) gave her that dream so that she would believe me, about the things that I'm writing about on SecretsofSurvival.com.

She has more support for my concern of world events now, and that I believe radical Islam is going to detonate a nuclear weapon, most likely in NYC, sometime soon. Could be 2007. Could be 2008. I don't know. It's just a strong feeling I have from reading Bible prophecy, and looking at world events. I believe the strong feeling is the Holy Spirit revealing TRUTH to me.

In the end, I won't know until it happens. I've had another dream recently that makes me believe this will happen sooner than later. It has to do with the rapture of the church, a reminder that Hell is a real place, and that THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE THAT WE CAN SAVE, people who can be included in the rapture, if we will only reach out to them. That was my understanding of the dream.

I don't know if it was prophetic. It may have just been a dream.

Anyway, I hope that I have clarified. Best regards,

Mark Lawrence

The 23rd

My wife had a dream this morning. I mention it because I believe it may be prophetic, and she rarely remembers her dreams. Since January, she's had 3 dreams that I believe were from the Holy Spirit.

Today, as she was about to leave for work, she described to me the following:

There was a body of water (like an ocean) and a temple – just the top of the temple – was coming up out of the water; or the temple was simply under flood waters. She wasn't sure which. Most of the temple was below the surface. She said it wasn't a church, but it was some kind of temple from the Middle East. And she heard: "The 23rd."

Then she said to me, "Today's July 23."

Well, the day's almost over and nothing's happened in the news.

Maybe "The 23rd" has some other kind of meaning, rather than a date.

Emails I've received...

Email: [Regarding Rick Warren article] I do not disagree with your assessment that mentioning only God's love and neglecting to fear him is not the whole story. However, at a time with so much division and judgment and hate among people in this world, doesn't it make sense that an approach to bring people to the positives of a Christian life are warranted? If you were just recently made a believer (January '07?), please keep in mind another verse of the bible that you neglected to mention:

'You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.' - Matthew 7:5 (spoken by Jesus)

Reply: You make a good point regarding the plank - but I've truly removed that plank from my own eye first.

I pray and write with a clean heart.

When I point out that God calls for us to overcome sin in Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation, I do this knowing that it can be done. One other reason I believe he's called me to commit my life to him is that I was deeply entrenched in sin.

I have a criminal record as a juvenile and young adult. I had some serious issues with pride and rebellion when I was young; I left home at an early age, I ran with the wrong crowd, and I didn't have much respect for authority.

Now, in studying God's Word and realizing that God holds us to higher standards than seems to be commonly thought, I've put my focus on escaping sin, and trying to conform to the image of Christ (which is what the Bible tells us to do).

From my own personal experience, if a person would simply focus and pray for sanctification by the Holy Spirit (which the Bible tells us to do) they can eliminate 99% (hypothetical number) sin from their life.

In fact, in the last two months I believe I've only told two white lies, and they were either by mistake or because I mis-spoke on the phone. I'm not worried about it because I know I'm forgiven, however in the end when God makes strong demands on Christians in the Bible to obey his commands, I know we can do it. Because I've done it. I'm doing it.

By putting God and his Word first in my life, it has become important to me to have a clean heart and love for others in all situations. I know it can be done, so I don't feel like a hypocrite when I use scripture from the Bible in my articles that tells us that we are supposed to overcome sin.

Best regards,

Mark Lawrence

Is America in the Bible?

The event that appears to start the Great Tribulation is a devestating attack on Mystery Babylon (Revelation 14:6-8) which many believe is America. Chapter 18 of Revelation gives a perfect description of modern day New York City (many believe it represents the entire United States), and then describes it being destroyed in what sounds like a nuclear attack.

Not sure? Read Chapter 18 right now. Please note verse 18:4:

As Mystery Babylon (most likely America) is attacked by it's enemies by fire (most likely nuclear weapons), the rapture of the church appears to occur.

Revelation 18:4 - Come out of her, my people,
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.

There it is right in front of you. The church appears to be raptured as Mystery Babylon is destroyed. If you read Revelation 17:15-18, then you know that the entire nation is conquered by the Anti-Christ and ten foreign nations.

The Anti-Christ and ten foreign nations

America, meet your new leaders.

Today, there are powerful international organized crime rings operating within the U.S. that most likely can be traced all the way up to the Presidents of Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Venezuela. China of course also has organized crime within the U.S. (as well as other nations). Their common purpose: Smuggle illegal weapons, drugs (heroin, cocaine, etc), counterfeit U.S. money, and illegal aliens into the United States.

Right now, there are over 20 million illegal aliens within the U.S. Your new leaders may already be here.

If that's not bad enough, it's reported that Islamic radicals have used MS-13 street gangs and Mexican organized crime to smuggle in terrorists and a number of nuclear suitcase weapons, which (according to FBI Consultant Paul Williams, author of The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World), they're planning to detonate in several cities simultaneously.

Sound like a lot to swallow? These claims were recently confirmed by FBI Director Robert Mueller.

* * *

Do you finally believe that the Bible is real and that America is in the Book of Revelation? Do you want to be a part of the rapture of the church and escape this world as 'sudden destruction' hits?

1 Thessalonians 5:2-9 - "... The Day of the Lord will come just as a thief in the night. When they say "Peace and security," then sudden destruction comes on them... But you are not in darkness, that this day should overtake you like a thief... For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Hell, the Rapture of the Church, and Lukewarm Christians

I mention in one of my previous blogs having a dream, which was a few days back now. I've shared part of that dream above; now I'm going to share the entire dream.

I was running on a treadmill at a gym, next to others also on treadmills. Mounted on the wall in front of us were a number of television sets. On each television was the same news report about Al Qaida planning attacks in America, and according to the news report it really seemed like it could happen at any moment.

On one television screen was an awards ceremony for athletes who were stepping on to blocks to receive medals, as they would at the Olympic Games.

Suddenly, I was filled with the Holy Spirit, however it didn't go away after a few moments. Instead, I kept being filled with the Holy Spirit and suddenly realized "It's happening!" And others on nearby treadmills started rising up. So, filled with the Holy Spirit, I rose toward the ceiling (still on the treadmill pad, which was rising with me). However, suddenly I got pulled backward, and into Hell.

It was as though I was getting a 30 second tour of Hell, which somehow I knew at the time. I could smell sulfur, feel intense heat, and a couple mini demon 'dogs' ran over and started eating the flesh off my hand.

Suddenly, I was pulled up out of Hell, and a moment later was getting off a roller coaster car, as though my 'ride' had just come to an end.

Others got off around me, and I knew we were now going to Heaven. I looked over at this guy who also got off the car, and I asked him, "How long have you been a Christian?"

He answered, "Two weeks."

He started walking toward Heaven.

* * *

This dream has made me realize that the rapture of the church may be sooner than most people realize, that Hell is a real place and when talking to others about the Bible, we need to remind them of the reality of Hell.

Most importantly, this dream made me realize that there are still people who we can save, people who can be included in the rapture of the church, if we will only reach out to them.

At this point, people who we can save may simply be Christians who are "lukewarm" in their faith (friends and family members?); as I've written numerous times in my articles, God says that he "detests" lukewarm Christians and is going to "vomit" them from his mouth (or "spit" them from his mouth, depending on Bible edition).

Right now, if we can simply educate these lukewarm Christians on God's demands for our lives, and inform them that they will not be in the rapture of the church if they're "lukewarm" in their faith (see Rev. 3:16) and have yet to OVERCOME SIN.

If we show them what the Bible says about the topic of being lukewarm and that God awards those who 'overcome sin', hopefully this will create a desire in them to return to full love of God and love for his commandments, as God clearly demands from us in Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation.

Emails I've received...

Email: Great article but I disagree that Mystery Babylon is New York. I believe it is a religious system and the more likely place would be Rome that sits on seven hills.

Reply: I can understand why Rome is appealing, but most people miss the fact that America is itself a religious system.

Throughout the Old Testament God destroys or has enemies destroy people who follow other gods.

America under the guise of Freedom of Religion, has been infiltrated with numerous gods, and numerous religions, and God's people (former Christians) have been turning to these other gods.

America was founded under God and blessed by God, but it has clearly turned to other Gods as we saw on July 12, 2007 when a Hindu prayer was said in the U.S. Senate, and at the beginning of January, 2007 when Congress had a guy who was sworn in holding the Koran (before that date every Congressman had been sworn in holding a Bible).

Also, please realize that Mystery Babylon is destroyed because of sexual immorality, which America is the biggest Sodom and Gomorrah of all time... Yes, there are good Christians within America , but most have embraced immoralilty and this country is guilty of unspeakable things.

So because of it's false religions and widespread immorality that has even affected and included children (which God abhors), God is sure to bring judgment on America; it may even happen in 2007.

Please see: 2008: Nuclear Attack by Terrorists on United States?

Best regards,

More on Mystery Babylon in Revelation:

I believe the event that takes place in Revelation 18:4 is the rapture of the church, however others believe that it's just Christians being told to move because judgment is coming. That can't be the case because God's people are called out as the attack on Mystery Babylon the Great occurs, and not before the attack occurs.

While most of the description of Mystery Babylon in Revelation fits New York City, there are two verses in it that do not:

Rev 17:6 - "...and I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her I wondered with great admiration."

Rev 18:24 - "...and in her was found all the blood of the prophets, and the saints, and of all who were slain on the earth."

I've received emails pointing this out, and I have to say this: There is no nation on earth that can claim the blood of all the prophets, and the saints, and all who were slain on earth, nor will there be a 'future' country that can make that claim.

This must represent some kind of ideology: For example, "Power". Or, "Greed". Or "Envy".

In Matthew 27:18 and 27:31, the Bible reports that Jesus is handed over for persecution because of "Envy". In Acts 5:17, the apostles are handed over because of "Jealousy".

So, as an ideology, would "Jealousy" or "Envy" apply to New York City? Considering that money, power, and greed make the Big Apple everything that it is, I would say this applies.

Now look at:

James 3:16 - For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Well, New York City (and the majority of modern-day America) is full of envy and selfish ambition. So, in the words of James, here we find disorder and every evil practice.

Emails I've received...

Email: You support your view by assuming that Christ’s coming “as a thief” versus His coming when “every eye sees Him” requires two “comings”. How do you explain Rev.16:15 that puts His coming “as a thief” at the time for Armageddon at the 6th Plague when armies have invaded Israel ?

Reply: You bring up a good point.

The fact is, that verse does not support a pre-trib rapture. However, because so many other verses do support it, and the fact that Matthew 24:37-44 proves a pre-tribulation rapture, I believe that that verse is placed where it is in Revelation to create mystery, as to when the timing is.

I say that because Revelation also does this with the fall of Mystery Babylon the Great.

In Rev. 14:6-8 Mystery Babylon falls at the beginning of the Great Tribulation.

However, in Rev 16:17-21 it appears to put the fall of Mystery Babylon at the end of the Great Tribulation.

What ends up happening is that this creates mystery: It makes it harder to figure out who Mystery Babylon is, and it makes it harder to figure out when exactly Mystery Babylon will fall.

Regarding Rev.16:15, I believe God purposely did that with the phrase 'Behold: I'm coming as a thief' -- God most likely put Rev. 16:15 where it is at to create mystery around the timing of the pre-tribulation rapture

If he did it with the fall of Mystery Babylon, there is no reason he wouldn't do it with the rapture of the church.

Thoughts? Best regards,

Mark Lawrence

Tancredo says threat of attack on holy sites would deter nuclear terrorism

"Followers of radical Islam must be deterred from committing a nuclear attack on U.S. soil," Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo said Tuesday morning, saying that as president he would take drastic measures to prevent such attacks.

"If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina," the GOP presidential candidate said. ...

"The president and this country better figure out exactly what it can do to deter, I underline deter, the next attack," Tancredo said. "Deter, not just respond, deter, or else I assure you we are going to suffer. The extent of which of course I do not know. I know what they are planning and I know what they want. I do not know if they are going to be capable of doing this tomorrow, the next day or a month from now. I know right now at this moment there is nothing that deters them."

Tancredo told the crowd officials recently broke up an illegal immigrant smuggling ring and discovered people of Middle Eastern descent were paying $25,000 to $50,000 to gain entry into this country.

Emails I've received...

Email: Thank-you for the section on Secrets Of Survival on sanctification. I have known too many Christians who are unaware that we must live a life pleasing to God. I have always been taught that we are to live a holy life. It saddens me when churches do not teach that right living is a part of the Christian life. As prophetic events continue to develop, I pray that many even in the church will wake up to what Christ calls us to be-- an umblemished Bride.

A new al Qaeda propaganda ad, headlined "Wait for the Big Surprise" and featuring a digitally altered photograph of President George Bush and Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf standing in front of a burning White House, was posted on the Internet today...

There is no additional information provided in the ad, and it closes with the words, "Soon -- God willing," written across the screen and repeated several times. (Full article)

Terrorists teaming up with drug cartels

Today, the Washington Times writes:

"...Law-enforcement report documents the influx of 'approximately 20 Arab persons a week utilizing the Travis County Court in Austin to change their names and driver's licenses from Arabic to Hispanic surnames.'" (Full article)

This is absurd. This is only now getting attention? How long have 20 Arabs a week been changing their names to hispanic names?

And...

How many courts and cities is this occuring in?

Most likely, more than just Travis County court in Austin, Texas. (Arabs are reported to be sneaking over the Canadian border also. Are courts in northern states also issuing Hispanic name changes to Arabs who are sneaking into the U.S.?)

The Devil and Billy Graham?

What's the real story on Billy Graham? I personally don't have any opinion of Billy Graham as I'm not that familiar with his teaching and influence in the church, but this cover photo on the latest edition of Time Magazine that appears to show devil's horns coming out of Graham's head, might be a clue that we should look at him with a lot more scrutiny. I'm sure this is an unintentional photo, but you have to wonder how this got past the editors all the way to publication?

Billy Graham Photo on Time Magazine

Ok, I just did a search and found the following articles on Graham, that show he does not have entirely Biblical beliefs (keep in mind that 5% apostasy is the same thing as 100% apostasy; for example the 'lukewarm' gospel):

Russia, China, deepen ties, launch joint military drills

CHELYABINSK, Russia, Aug. 11 (UPI) -- China and Russia say their deepening ties are aimed at fighting terrorism, not building a military alliance, it was reported Saturday,

The two countries are participating in “Peace Mission 2007,” sponsored by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization to fight the “three evil forces” of terrorism, separatism and extremism, reported Xinhua, China’s official news agency.

SCO military exercises involving 6,500 troops and 80 aircraft were underway Saturday in the Chebarkul range near the Ural Mountain city of Chelyabinsk in Russia. (Full article)

So what do I think of this? Obviously I'm a Bible thumper, and I know what the prophecies say about the conspiracies, lies, and false peace that unfold between governments in the End Times -- and bring the Anti-Christ to power, who attacks and conquers Mystery Babylon in the Book of Revelation in a conspiracy that involves ten other nations.

In July, 2005, Russia and China warned other nations "against attempts to dominate global affairs" -- which was really a veiled threat aimed at the U.S:

USA TODAY: China, Russia warn of world domination

The question now (two years later) is:

Are Russia and China really doing joint military maneuvers to combat terrorism?

Or could these maneuvers be setting the stage for an upcoming attack on the American homeland -- after Radical Islam pulls off a nuclear attack on a handful of U.S. cities -- the same nuclear attack the former CIA director recently said could happen this summer or early fall?

The governments of Russia and China have strong ties to organized crime (think Russia and Chinese Mafia, groups well known for smuggling large amounts of weapons, money, and illegal aliens into the U.S.), and both governments would surely like to see the U.S. out of the way as a world superpower. Is the Geico Caveman a Biblical 'abomination'?

Until recently, I've thought the Geico caveman ads were humorous. Then I thought about it. Millions of people are seeing these ads, multiple times a day. Children are seeing these ads. These ads would probably give people belief in evolution and less belief in God's creation.

According to the Bible, God created Adam and Eve, and that's how mankind got started. The Bible does not say anything about evolution, and the idea that man evolved from a caveman could cause Christians of weak faith to have less belief in the Bible.

So, is the Geico Caveman a Biblical 'abomination'? Most likely. Considering that this is now being turned into a television show that will air this fall, produced in Hollywood, California, this may be the straw that breaks the camel's back for America -- or should I say, Babylon.

While I'm on the subject of Hollywood, the movie Chuck and Larry may be a Biblical abomination as well. This movie takes homosexuality to the mainstream, casting famous comedians in roles that make homosexuality look like a normal way of life -- which goes directly against God and his commands for our lives. How many children are going to go away from this movie thinking that homosexuality is ok?

Too many.

Emails I've received...

Email: Mark, yes there ARE radical Islam believers about, the real people that you need to be scared of are members of our own government and the corporate monied interests that ARE in control.... [they] will use *any* false flag event to blame on others so they have an excuse to take 'action' to 'protect' us.

Reply: I don't think you should be worried about the United States government -- I think we the people who live in the United States, need to be worried about God.

In the Book of Revelation, in Revelation 17:15-18 the Anti-Christ and ten foreign nations destroy Mystery Babylon, which many believe is New York City, and the nation is then conquered, and the people are made to take the mark of the beast (or flee for the mountains, be executed, etc.).

If you read Revelation, God "puts it into their hearts" to destroy Mystery Babylon, to bring about his judgment.

In other words, because God is so angry at the United States, he is going to give it to its enemies, as judgment. God has done this to other nations in the Old Testament (for example, read Jeremiah 25)

Basically, there is nothing we can do to stop this, because it's in the Bible. At this point, I advise everyone to tell friends and family to believe in God (love God with all your heart, mind, and soul), turn away from evil and repent of all sin, follow God's commands -- and get ready for the rapture of the church.

Paradise under construction?

My wife had another dream. This is number four now. Saturday evening we had a disagreement on the imminence of the rapture; as you can imagine, she finds it difficult to believe that it may happen shortly. She's made it clear to me that it may not occur for many years yet.

Well, the next morning, right before she woke up, she had the following dream:

She, our four year old, and I were driving somewhere, and suddenly we pulled up to an area under construction. Other people were pulling up to this area as well. A thick electric wire ran along the top of a stone perimeter, and the only way in was through the front gate.

From the outside you could see three different types of animals. Each were in a pair of two. One set were zebra, only they weren't like zebra the way we know them. They were bigger, much more elaborate and for lack of a better word, perfect. Beyond the three sets of animals was the opening (she can't recall what the other two sets of animals were).

There you could see an incredible view. The sky was in various colors and there were indescribable mountains and valleys. It was all a distance away but what could be seen was beautiful.

We got out from the car to walk up to the stone perimeter. The other people from the other cars were also lining up along the wall. A man was just inside the perimeter and it was made known we could come inside for a preview but "it was not ready yet". We were excited that we were allowed in. The walkway was made of stone as well. My wife remembers this because she was barefoot, having left her shoes in the car. The man at the entrance didn't mind. Everyone had to wait just inside the gate.

My wife was told that she was to announce to the rest of the people when the van was coming to pick up everyone to take them inside. The man who had allowed us in said he would let her know when to tell everyone when the van would arrive.

The dream came to an end with the buzz of our alarm clock. So, her dream ended with everyone 'still waiting'.

America in a "Mexican Standoff" with Fate.

In articles on this website, I've commented on the threat from Islamic terrorists to detonate nuclear weapons in U.S. cities, and with yesterday's announcement by Iran that it has reached it's "nuclear goal", the threat from terrorists I believe has just increased significantly.

Sept. 2, 2007 - Iran reaches nuclear target

If Iran has one working nuclear weapon, they can hold Israel hostage, and prevent the U.S. from launching attacks on Iran -- if Islamic terrorists detonate nuclear weapons in one or more U.S. cities (which many believe could happen any day).

The President of Iran has made it clear that he wants to wipe Israel off the map, and that is one reason the West is in a rush to prevent Iran from having a nuclear warhead.

One reason Al-Qaeda / Hezbollah terrorists have not detonated the nukes they are alleged to have inside the United States, is because Iran does not yet have a nuclear weapon (on record).

The U.S. suspects Iran (and Venezuela) as having aided terrorists, and most likely Iran will be attacked by the U.S., if the terrorists attack one or more U.S. cities with nuclear weapons.

However...

if Iran has one nuclear weapon, the U.S. will most likely not attack Iran, because Iran can launch it's nuclear weapon at Israel, and completely destroy it.

I believe that we are on the verge of watching the biggest events in history unfold before 2007 is over...

This is what I believe will happen, based on current world events and what the Bible says about events that usher in the Great Tribulation (that is expected to last 7 years).

1) Iran will get it's nuclear weapon.

2) The U.S. will not attack Iran (even though yesterday the Pentagon issued a report saying that over a three day period, it will destroy Iran's military).

Sept. 2, 2007 - Pentagon ‘three-day blitz’ plan for Iran

3) Terrorists will finally carry out Bin Laden's plan for "American Hiroshima" before 2007 is over. Several cities, including New York, will suffer nuclear attacks.

4) As these attacks happen, the rapture of the church will occur.

5) Israel will also be attacked, however the attack will be unsuccessful, as God will supernaturally protect Israel.

(Please read Ezekiel 38 & 39)

6) Israel will destroy Damascus with a nuclear weapon, forcing the Middle East into a temporary peace.

Damascus annihilated in Bible prophecy

At this point, we will now be in the Great Tribulation.

If you've been reading Daniel, then you know the rest -- half-way through the seven the Anti-Christ (who I believe is a Muslim) will break the peace agreement, and seize Israel, and set himself up in the Jewish temple and proclaim that he is God. The Bible reports that he will then be destroyed, "but not by human hands".

---

Will it actually happen like this? At this point, this is what it looks like.

One spark, and we have a wildfire - USA vs. Islam, 2007 .

Zechariah 12:2-3 could be happening right now.

"I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves."

In an effort to make peace, Israel has given up it's holiest site, the Temple Mount, and Islamic authorities are now "blasting and bulldozing".

WND: Islamic authorities have been blasting with bulldozers on the Temple Mount – Judaism's holiest site.

At the same time that this is going on, the U.S. is threatening to destroy Iran's military in a "three day blitz", because Iran has reached it's "nuclear goal". See:

SOS: End Times News Watch

And you can guess that the President of Iran does not want to lose his military to a massive U.S. attack, which the U.S. is threatening.

Iran and Venezeula are both suspected to have helped Al-Qaida get nuclear weapons and terrorists inside the U.S.

They are already here.

If this is the case -- which you'll read in numerous articles on this site -- the only way for Iran to avoid an attack by the U.S. military, is for Al Qaida to detonate the nukes it's alleged to have snuck into a handful of U.S. cities.

That's why I write in other posts, that the U.S. is now in a Mexican Standoff. We're holding a gun on Iran, and Al Qaida (alleged to have nuclear weapons inside the U.S.) is holding a gun on America.

I believe a major event could happen at any time, at this point -- because the longer that Islamic radicals wait to detonate these nukes, the more time that the U.S. has to attack Iran -- and neither Iran nor it's allies (Syria, Venezuela, North Korea, Russia, etc) want to see that happen.

One spark and we have a wildfire.

Revelation 14:6-8 - ``Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people.

He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."

A second angel followed and said, "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries."

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath.``

Isaiah 13 and 47 - Is Glenn Beck's "The Perfect Day" in the Bible?

All this week, Glenn Beck on CNN is doing a special series warning America about a massive campaign of attacks that is reported to be underway, called The Perfect Day. One of the targets believed to be on terrorists' hit lists, is widespread attacks on public schools and the slaughter of American children.

In my months researching America's place in the Bible, I've found that the future nation of Babylon is believed by many to be America. In the Bible, there are two Babylon's: There's ancient Babylon, and then there's the future Babylon.

Isaiah 13 and 47 both talk about a future Babylon, and both give great descriptions of what is most likely modern day America.

Isaiah 13:5-19 - They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens — the LORD and the weapons of his wrath — to destroy the whole country... Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished. See, I will stir up against them the Medes, who do not care for silver and have no delight in gold. Their bows will strike down the young men; they will have no mercy on infants nor will they look with compassion on children. Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms, the glory of the Babylonians' pride, will be overthrown by God like Sodom and Gomorrah.

Shockingly, both chapters in Isaiah (13 and 47) describe children and wives being murdered / ravished by the Medes (Persians), which God sends to attack Babylon, to bring about his judgment of wrath.

Isaiah 47:8-9 - Now then, listen, you wanton creature, lounging in your security and saying to yourself, "I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children." Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood.

Coincidentally, the attacks on Babylon in Isaiah 13 and 47 coincide with the attack on Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17:15-18, where God puts it into their hearts to attack the "mighty city", to bring about his judgment.

In Isaiah 13 and 47, he uses the Persians to bring about his judgment on Babylon, and in Revelation 17:15-18 he uses the beast (the Anti-Christ, which many believe is Islam) and its allies to bring about judgment.

In Rev. 17:15:18, the destruction of Mystery Babylon happens in one day and one hour, which sounds exactly like Isaiah 47:9: both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day.

What does this mean for America?

Please read: 2008: Nuclear Attack by Terrorists on United States?

What is Russia and China's connection to The Perfect Day?

The Perfect Day series, recently shown on CNN's Glenn Beck show was difficult to watch. However, for those of us that did watch the series, it detailed much of what the terrorists want to do. Terrible, no doubt. But at least someone had the guts to talk about this on television.

Now, we just need someone with the guts to discuss Bin Laden's plan for "American Hiroshima" on national news and the reports that North Korea is working in Syria allegedly with A. Q. Khan's nuclear technicians to most likely outfit Iran-linked Hezbollah terrorists with nuclear weapons (that's in addition to the Syrian government).

U.K. TIMES: (Sept. 16 article points to nuclear arms in Syria, developed by North Korea and China?)

If you don't recall, MSNBC broke the story four months ago that Hezbollah has a base in South America where terrorists train.

And if you're not aware, Hezbollah, is alleged to have more terror cells inside the United States than Al-Qaida.

Will Hezbollah, working with North Korea and A.Q. Khan in Syria finally smuggle nuclear weapons into the U.S. (with the assistance of Venezuela's Hugo Chavez)?

Or are the nuclear weapons already here, as many suspect?

Russia and China and the Apocalypse

What's Russia's connection in all this? Russia has been selling arms to Iran, Syria, and Venezuela, as well as nuclear technology to Iran. China is also selling nuclear technology to Iran.

Wall Street Journal: China-Iran Trade Surge Vexes U.S.

The most frightening thing of all is that both Russia and China are reported by U.S. intelligence to be spying on American infrastructure at Cold War Levels.

AFP: China and Russia aggressive spying

Coincidentally, just last month Russia and China got together and held joint military drills, involving each nation's armed forces.

UPI: Russia, China, deepen ties, conduct joint military drills

If Russia and China are doing heavy spying on America's infrastructure, and conducting joint military drills, it's very possible that they themselves are going to attack America from within, the same day that Radical Islam does.

Chavez himself threatened to "unleash an army of operatives" already inside the U.S. if we attack Iran.

WND: Chavez threatens to 'unleash operatives' already in U.S.

Well, why wouldn't China and Russia have military operatives here also? According to the link above, their spies are here, and they're not just here – they're "aggressively" collecting intelligence on "sensitive and protected US systems, facilities and developmental projects."

That may be why Glenn Beck warned teachers to not just look for Arabs doing surveillance on schools. He said they might be blonde haired / blue eyed.

Considering the evidence above, they also might be Chinese.

Or Latin American.

In the end, The Perfect Day is shaping up to include a lot more than just attacks on America's public schools. And it may be a lot more than just Arabs.

Mark these words, when The Perfect Day finally takes place, you can expect more than one nation to be involved; and you can expect more than one U.S. city to be destroyed by a nuclear weapon (which we've discussed indepth in other articles on this site).

The government has given multiple warnings: Is anybody listening?

Does anybody care?

Why is the media silent on this story?

Lives can be saved, if someone would tell the American people to prepare.

Counting Down to the Nuclear Annihilation of San Francisco

Just when I thought things couldn't look any worse for America, WorldNetDaily reports that a Homosexual "Sex" Festival took place in San Francisco, going so far as to mock the Last Supper of Christ; there's no need to repeat what WorldNetDaily reported, but rest assured I don't think humans can possibly be any more wicked than the "group" activities of the numerous homosexuals in San Francisco; the San Francisco Chronicle even described the festival as their version of "Disneyland".

Next to the Nazis and the murder of over 6 million Jews, the homosexuals of San Francisco are probably the second worst society in human history, and from what is being reported at WorldNetDaily, they seem to be at the height of their wickedness.

If you know any non-Christians who live in San Francisco, you may want to encourage them to move a few hundred miles away – because I have a feeling that San Francisco is going to burn with a fierce fire from God like the ancient city of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Is it any coincidence that Paul Williams' book, The Day of Islam: The Annihilation of America and the Western World, reports that San Francisco is one of the cities Bin Laden is planning on destroying with a terrorist detonated nuclear weapon?

In the Book of Revelation, God uses other nations to bring judgment on Mystery Babylon. For those of you who have any doubts that America is Mystery Babylon, read up on just how wicked San Francisco has become. Sure, there's a few good people living there, but the homosexuals (many who come from across America) who descend on this city are going crazy with their wickedness. San Francisco is a literal paradise for demons and I believe that it's going to be destroyed very soon.

Now, I hope I don't sound homophobic – I hope that I sound Biblical.

Last, I hope that our media will see this the way God sees this.

Standing up for homosexuals sends the wrong message to our children, and after the President of Iran's recent speech at Columbia University, the media had a field day standing up for homosexuals – all in the name of being politically correct.

It's time for our media to stop being politically correct – it's time to start being Biblically correct.

America and the Book of Revelation

I've said for months now that New York City is Mystery Babylon the Great in the Book of Revelation, however many of the "old school" Bible thumpers say that Mystery Babylon the Great is actually a future Rome, that will be the home of the Anti-Christ.

This belief is so ingrained in so many pastors and evangelists, which they've been told since childhood, that most of them completely overlook the fact that New York City is in direct position to fulfill the prophecy of Mystery Babylon the Great, right now.

That is why so few pastors and evangelists say anything about America, in relation to Bible prophecy.

Revelation describes Mystery Babylon the Great (also called the Harlot) as riding a Seven-Headed Beast; elsewhere in Revelation it's clear that the Anti-Christ is one of the heads of this Seven-Headed beast (more specifically, he becomes an 'eighth' head).

What these pastors and evangelists overlook is that the Seven-Headed Beast destroys Mystery Babylon the Great in Rev. 17:15-18 and takes control of her kingdom.

Which brings this question:

How can Mystery Babylon the Great "ride" the Seven-Headed Beast that destroys her and takes control of her kingdom?

If Mystery Babylon the Great does business with the beast, it can be said that she "rides" it.

That's one reason I think Mystery Bayblon the Great is New York City, and the kingdom that is conquered is America. Revelation describes the Seven-Headed Beast as a unity of allied nations that conspire against Mystery Babylon the Great, and destroy her by fire in "one day and one hour".

Hold on, many pastors and evangelists will say:

Mystery Babylon the Great is described as being built on seven hills, and that describes Rome.

Please pay close attention to what I write next:

Here's the verse they are referring to:

Revelation 17:9 - This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.

Those who believe that Mystery Babylon the Great is a future Rome, believe this because Rome is built on seven hills. They then try to say that the Catholic Church, which has long been surrounded by controversy, is the identity of Mystery Babylon the Great.

The only problem with that is that the next verse says:

Revelation 17:10 - They are also seven kings.

Look at this closely. Verse 17:10 just clarified what it meant in verse 17:9.

According to 17:9, 17:10 does not mean seven actual hills. It means seven kings. (At this point, we can disqualify Rome).

Mystery Babylon the Great is described as riding a Seven Headed Beast. I believe the Seven Headed Beast is the same seven kings mentioned in 17:10. Revelation, which repeats itself in many other places, using figurative language, has just repeated itself again in this verse.

Now look at:

Revelation 17:11 - The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction

In current events, I believe that the eighth king mentioned above is the Anti-Christ; what Iran and many Muslim clerics call the "Promised One" -- the Mahdi -- who they believe is going to appear soon, and impose global Islamic rule over the entire world.

Please realize that most people do not believe that Mystery Babylon the Great is New York City, because for decades these people have long believed that Mystery Babylon the Great will be a future Rome.

(It's possible that God never intended for many people to know the true identity of Mystery Babylon the Great -- until after its destruction.)

In fact, the descriptions of this city written in Chapter 17 and 18 will most likely make sense to readers across the world after the fact.

After New York City is destroyed by a nuclear weapon (Revelation 17:15-18), and after the church is raptured (Revelation 18:4), people from across the nation and the rest of the world, will reach for their Bibles, and start reading Revelation (the last chapter in the Bible), and get to Chapter 17 and 18 and all say:

Matthew 7:13-14 - "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."

When Jesus said "enter through the narrow gate" in Matthew 7:13, he wasn't joking around.

In Deuteronomy 32:48-52, Moses died on Mount Nebo and could only look at the promised land from a distance, because he did not uphold God's holiness among the Israelites.

Here's one of the most famous figures from the Bible, and arguably the man who had the closest relationship with God, being punished by God in his final days of life.

There is a very important lesson here for church pastors and evangelists around the world. Evangelists like Joel Osteen, most known for his prosperity gospel message, need to read the Bible. From what I've seen on television, when Osteen is speaking to his congregation of forty-two thousand people, there is no attempt to uphold holiness in his message.

Instead, he tells people exactly what they want to hear. That God is loving. That God is forgiving. That God has marked them to receive great things.

Sorry, Joel -- you're preaching a different gospel. You and the millions of people who read your books and watch your television show -- and who believe what you teach (you exaggerate God's love while failing to mention his commands to repent of all sin and Christ's teaching that we must achieve righteousness and holiness) -- are on a rapid descent into Hell.

The First Commandment is to not put any other gods before God, and the Second Commandment is to not create any idols, which refers to anything that takes God's place. If you do not put God first in your life -- for example, if you put yourself, first -- you have just created an idol, and broken the first two commandments.

Wake up, America. Joel Osteen is preaching a false gospel. Please realize that 90% of the gospel is still a false gospel -- and Joel Osteen is only coming in probably somewhere around 50%.

(For further information, please read: Rick Warren and the 'End Times' Apostasy. For the most part, just substitute Rick Warren's name for Joel Osteen and you'll understand why I believe Joel Osteen is one of the most powerful tools Satan has in his arsenal for destroying Christianity.)

Today, pastors and evangelists everywhere need to examine themselves, and ask:

Why would God take the life of Moses before he could enter the "promised land"?

I believe that God punished Moses in this way, to serve as a lesson for all Christians -- specifically pastors and evangelists who are responsible for teaching and upholding holiness in their congregations -- teachings you will not hear from Joel Osteen, and many others.

Look at what Paul said:

1 Corinthians 10:11-12 - These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the fulfillment of the ages has come. So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!

The lesson for church leaders is this:

Are you upholding holiness in your congregation? Does your congregation even understand what holiness is?

Leveticus 20:26 - You are to be holy to me because I, the LORD, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.

Church leaders, remember this: The day Christ comes for his holy and blameless church (that is without spot or blemish as stated by Paul in Ephesians 5), there are going to be a lot of ticked off people knocking on the doors of your church – wondering why they are still here.

Of course, when that day comes, many church leaders who have been left behind will be wondering the same thing.

Finally, they'll pick up a Bible, and start reading and realize that everything that the Bible warns about obedience and holiness is true.

There is no room for error -- especially for those who instruct God's people here on earth.

Parents, there is also an important lesson here:

We are responsible for upholding holiness in our children.

If our children reject it, we need to pray for them, in the hope that God will lead them to repentance (2 Timothy 2:24-26).

Read Deuteronomy 6:5-9 and post a sign in your doorway, as God instructs. Talk to your children about the end of days and the reality of Hell and Christ's return for his church. Teach your children to pray for their friends, that God would give them a heart to know him, and will pour his Spirit on them also.

Strive for holiness in your own life, and uphold holiness in your household.

Revelation 22:6-7 - Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place. “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

The Third and Fourth Seals of Revelation

With oil prices now at an all time record high, and the housing market in it's worst slump in 16 years, and knowing that so many pieces are in place and that the Tribulation appears that it can begin at any time -- it's possible that we are currently in the Third Seal of Revelation.

Revelation 6:5-6 - When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

Here we have a description of what is likely the world's financial market, and it appears that God shakes it up, so to speak, when the Third Seal is opened.

In contrast to this, when the Fourth Seal is opened, a fourth of the earth's population is killed.

Revelation 6:7-8 - When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

Clearly something big has to occur between the Third and Fourth Seal. Considering that it still appears to be life as usual for civilization when the Third Seal is opened -- which is reflected in the description of the world markets -- I believe that when the Fourth Seal is opened the Tribulation has begun -- and a fourth of the world's population will be killed early on.

On October 18, 2007, Bush warned of WWIII if Iran goes nuclear and here on SOS we've written extensively on the nuclear threat to America by Islamic terrorists, backed by allied nations.

In fact, I believe a nuclear attack on a handful of U.S. cities is in the near future.

Tonight when you're sitting at the dinner table, and a news report comes on the television talking about oil prices and the housing slump, inflation, interest rates, and the national debt which is in the trillions of dollars -- you might want to mention to your wife or husband that we are possibly in the Third Seal of Revelation -- which means the Fourth Seal is likely to be opened shortly.

Of course that's if you're not sick to your stomach after watching the news reports about senators and priests having gay sex with child pedohiles at a sex festival in San Francisco, that's all been caught on camera by NBC Dateline in a special report, To Catch a Senator.

Of course if you miss that episode, you can always watch the "Raw" footage on late night cable, right after Boys Gone Wild.

REPENT AMERICA.

YOU ARE SICK, DISEASED, AND DEMONIZED.

GOD'S JUDGMENT IS COMING.

Will the Last True Christian Evangelist Please Stand Up?

In this age of apostasy and widespread deception in the Christian church, there is one man that stands out to me as being true to the message of the gospel.

After Joel Osteen's appearance on The Glenn Beck Show on CNN this week, I'm now praying that Paul Washer gets a phone call, and gets a chance to set America straight.

Paul Washer is one hundred percent genuine. He is a man of God and his message is the truth -- Click here to listen. It will save you, your family, and your friends -- all they have to do is hear this.

You're going to realize immediately that most people who attend church are not saved, and that most churches pitch the same lukewarm gospel, and that is going to cost many Christians their souls. Hell is real. That's where many "Christians" are going unless someone can cut through the deception of "American Christianity" and open their hearts and minds to the truth.

Satan has corrupted much of Christianity and that is one reason we know that we are so close to the rapture of the church and God's wrath on the nations.

Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron of WayoftheMaster.com (who starred in TV's Growing Pains and the Left Behind series by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins) would also be good guys to hear from. While their message is not as gripping as Paul Washer's, it's still Biblical.

Right about now, America needs to get hit over the head with the Bible, repeatedly.

Or the next hit is coming from God's 500 kiloton gavel.

Is Christ going to turn his back on you or your loved ones?

Matthew 7:21-23 - “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

In this passage, Christ makes it clear that if Christians "practice lawlessness" they are not saved, and will be rejected.

Please note that these Christians believe they're saved:

Matthew 7:21 - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

-- Christ says that they are not saved, which means they're going to Hell.

I'm sure it's going to come as quite a surprise to these people.

Now, why would these "Christians" believe they're saved and that they're going to Heaven?

One reason may be because they do not do any "big sin", and only "small sin".

Please note that in Matthew 7:21-23 they're not just sinning on rare occassions -- but they're said to "practice" it. Which in my opinion means they sin frequently.

God is not okay with that.

God's Greatest Commandment is to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Christians who practice sin most likely fail to uphold this commandment, or I'm sure they would make a greater effort to follow God's commands.

Last week, I had a talk with my mother about this. She's Catholic, as well as my step-father, and they go to church every week, and they think they're saved. However, I heard my mother make some harsh comments regarding a neighbor they're having a dispute with (I believe regarding one of my parent's golden retrievers), and a couple days later I sat down with my mom and asked her if she knew what God's Greatest Commandment is.

Then I asked her point blank: Do you love your neighbor as you love yourself?

I told her in another conversation that Christ said that if we do not forgive others, God will not forgive us. She didn't respond to that. (I pray that she's been thinking about it.)

I think that this an important question we all need to ask ourselves, and we should really stress that our loved ones ask this question of themselves as well.

Do we love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves?

Do we truly love our neighbors?

Do you love the clerk who sells you gas? Do you love the old guy who looks broke, who stands on a steet corner holding up a sign that asks for money?

Or do you treat these people with contempt?

If we look inside ourselves, and realize that we do not quite walk in holiness, then we know what we need to work on, and that we still have not let the Holy Spirit do the transformation promised to us in Scripture.

Matthew 7:7-8 - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

California Fires - The Perfect Storm

Last week, Gov. Schwarzenegger signed a new law, instructing public schools to teach children as young as five that homosexuality is the norm, and going to so far as to ban the words "mom and dad" and "husband and wife" from California schools because they are anti-gay terms. In addition, boys can use girls' restrooms, and girls can use boys' restrooms - whatever gender these boys and girls most identify with.

Schwarzenegger signs law promoting homosexuality to school children

Only one week after Schwarzenegger passed this law, California is on fire.

Matthew 18:6-8 - But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!

Woe to the state.

"Show me a sign"

The Malibu Presbyterian Church was among the structures destroyed in the fires raging through Southern California.

The sign in front of the church indicates that Sunday's sermon was to be from Revelation 4, which begins by describing John's 'rapture' in the Holy Spirit to Heaven, before he records the devastation that comes to Earth during the Tribulation.

View photo of Malibu Presbyterian Church sign

The next time a lukewarm Christian calls you crazy for telling him or her that the Book of Revelation is unfolding and that the rapture could happen at any time, and they say, show me a sign -- well, send them the link above.

There it is. Revelation 4.

That may be the only sign they get.

Who's behind the wild fires that have struck California? According to CNN, arson is suspected in atleast one of the blazes.

Could Al Qaeda be behind this? Possibly. There's also a chance that God had this fire set, as the beginning of judgments that are coming to the United States.

I'm sure we'll know shortly if this is just an isolated event, or if there are more events to follow.

The Fall of Christianity and the Rise of the "Emerging Church"

WND: Crystal Cathedral conference accused of twisting biblical Christianity

According to WorldNetDaily, "Biblical" Christians believe that the purpose of this conference is to introduce new doctrines into Christianity, so Christianity conforms with the world we live in today.

2 Timothy 4:3 - For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

Of course, "Biblical" Christians are freaked out about that, knowing that true believers are told by God to be seperate from the world -- not a part of it.

"Biblical" Christians believe that God requires that we stay 100% faithful to the Bible.

Many pastors and authors today however, seem to only come in at 50%. For example, Joel Osteen and his prosperity message; Rick Warren and his God loves you, everyone who calls themselves a Christian is saved message.

Now, what if you honor 90% of the Bible, but then you bring in 10% of your own beliefs? That's still apostasy.

If you look closely at Revelation 2 and 3, five out of seven churches are in serious trouble with God, and I believe this corresponds with what Biblical Christians say about the "Emerging Church".

This conference at the Crystal Cathedral appears to be nothing more than a beating and rape of the Holy Bible.

Will UFOs be blamed for disappearance of Christians when Christ 'Raptures' the Church?

I've been following a number of stories and events in world news, and have come to the conclusion (along with many others) that when the U.S. is attacked by Radical Islam and nuclear weapons are detonated in a number of U.S. cities, most likely UFOs will appear in the skies over the nations of the world.

Sounds crazy, huh?

This will occur at the same moment the church is raptured and all Christians true to the faith are taken to the new world that Christ has prepared (John 14:1-6).

To non-Christians, that sounds crazy.

Many Christians have linked UFOs with fallen angels called the Nephilim in the Old Testament, which are demons in Satan's army he is specifically using to set up the deception that will likely take place when Christ raptures the church.

WND: The UFO Conspiracy - Space Travelers or Demonic Deceivers?

What do UFOs have in common with Radical Islam?

In the article, The 'New Age' of Iran, I link the President of Iran with spirit channeling, and believe that he may be in contact with fallen angels, who he believes are from the Pleiades Constellation that is going to help him dispose of the U.S.

(If that sounds crazy, read the article). You will be a believer that something very strange is going on over in Iran.

The President of Iran is not the first world leader to have an interest in the Occult. The History Channel recently aired a show titled, "The Occult History of the Third Reich." Hitler also had an interest in spirit channeling.

Hitler thought that if his regime could contact the 'spirit world', he could get technological secrets that would give him victory over the world.

Why would the President of Iran want to be associated with anything 'Nazi'? Well, as far as he's concerned, he probably doesn't think he's spirit channeling. He's under the delusion that he's in contact with the Mahdi -- the 12th Imam holy to Islam -- the Islamic Messiah -- that according to the Koran is destined to impose global Islamic rule and reign for a period of seven years, and then the end of the world occurs.

Of course the Bible states otherwise. There is no 'Mahdi' or '12th Imam' in the Bible. There are only demons, who pretend to be 'gods'. That is stated in multiple places in the Bible.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 - The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Is that UFO "invasion" on it's way right now?

Many Christians believe that the Tribulation could start at any time, and that the church will be raptured. Coincidentally, Jewish rabbis (who study the Old Testament) and Christians (who also study the Old Testament), believe that the U.S. will suffer the wrath of God, as written about in Zechariah 12, when the U.S. helps create a Palestinian state out of the nation of Israel at the Annapolis conference later this month.

CNN: Rice says Palestinian state within reach

YNET: Rabbis warn Bush: Annapolis will bring destruction to US

Now this post gets weird. Last month, CNN.com reported that Tom Cruise, Hollywood actor and crazed Scientologist, is rumored to be building a multi-million dollar bunker at his Colorado home, because he believes the "negative extra-terrestrial" Xenu is on his way to earth to attack.

If Tom Cruise and other Scientologists believe this, there's a good chance they're under the delusion spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 that comes over the world in the end times.

Hey Tom, does this have anything to do with the Holmes comet?

Fox News reports that on Oct. 23, 2007 this comet underwent an explosive outburst and within just 24 hours increased its brightness almost a million-fold.

FOX: Newly Visible Comet Brightens Northern Skies

For some reason this reminds me of the Heaven's Gate cult that in the late 1990s all committed suicide because they believed a UFO was hiding behind a comet that was going to come and take them away when it passed by earth.

Does Tom Cruise believe that the recent explosion of the Holmes comet has anything to do with a coming UFO invasion?

He just might.

Of course, if anyone disappears, it's going to be Christians being taken in a 'rapture' -- not UFOs abducting a large number of humans to satisfy the appetite of some "negative extra-terrestrial" that Scientologists believe has a bone to pick with earth.

(If Tom Cruise isn't hiding in his bunker, someone should let him know).

In summary:

I don't believe that aliens will have anything to do with the Christian church being raptured and Christ coming for his Holy Bride.

I do believe that much of the world will blame aliens / UFOs for the reason that Christians disappeared. If you know any non-Christians, this may be something worth mentioning. Because if you disappear, you don't want your friends thinking you were taken by UFOs. If they don't believe in the Bible now, they're even less likely to believe in the Bible if UFOs are seen in the skies after the rapture -- as part of a massive deception by Satan.

If all this talk of UFOs comes as a surprise, I encourage you to to watch this documentary sold on Christian-based WorldNetDaily.com:

WND: The UFO Conspiracy - Space Travelers or Demonic Deceivers?

In addition, here's a book that will bring you up to speed, that connects New Age / Occult beliefs with those who believe in UFOs / aliens. Satan is behind all of it.

Books: UFO: End-Time Delusion

Supernatural "blue cloud" startles customers at Ohio gas station

Some witnesses call it an angel. Others (most likely non-Christians) call it a ghost.

Watch the video and decide for yourself:

CNN: Strange event at Ohio gas station on November 11

According to Bible, ghosts don't exist -- only demons impersonating the "spirits" of dead people.

So this is either a demon or an angel, and it doesn't look like a demon.

(If you forward this link to your friends and family, be sure to let them know that.)

In conclusion: When I see this, I think it's something God ordained. I think it may be an angel, but God does not let it be clearly defined. I think God ordained this to happen to slowly open up people's eyes to the world of the spiritual.

(Non-believers of course will assume it's a ghost, and God will let them have this delusion).

Does Russia believe that Jerusalem is Mystery Babylon the Great from the Book of Revelation?

The Pravda, an official Russian news website, published an editorial this week that states a belief that Jerusalem is the identity of Mystery Babylon the Great in Revelation.

PRAVDA: Jerusalem: Babylon of Revelation?

This is published at a very ironic time -- and now the question I ask is:

How many Russians believe this?

More specifically -- how many Russian officials believe this?

Could this just be one of many reasons why it was reported today that Russia delivered 82 tons of nuclear fuel to Iran?

Sure, Iran says that this nuclear fuel is going to be used for nuclear energy --

WASH. POST: Russia Delivers First Shipment of Nuclear Fuel to Iran

-- but with Iran's president suspected to be behind 80% of terrorist attacks as reported in world news earlier this year, I have a hard time believing that all 82 tons of nuclear fuel is going to be used to produce energy.

Not at a time that North Korea is reported to be helping Iran-linked Hezbollah build military bunkers alongside Israel.

Israel Nat. News: North Korea Involved in Hezbollah Training and Weaponry

Here's a stupid question:

Why would you sell a man called "more dangerous than Hitler" -- and who has said that Israel will be "wiped off the map" and has called for it's "annihilation" -- 82 tons of nuclear fuel?

Here on SecretsofSurvival I just published an article written by James Roberts titled, "Is Russia Preparing for War?"

I believe that answer is yes. I believe that the prophecies of Ezekiel 38 and 39 are coming together in world events as I write this blog.

2005: Putin Leads Russia's Return to the Middle East and the Arab Embrace

In doing a search on Google, I came across an article published in 2005 that records numerous little-known facts related to Russia's return to the Middle East.

If this article is accurate, I believe it sets the stage for the prophecied God-Magog war recorded in Ezekiel 38, which I mentioned in the previous blog.

If you know any non-believers, this is the kind of information that should start to get their attention.

All these events they see going on in the Middle East, with Russia selling arms and missile defense systems to Iran and Syria -- this is all Biblical.

If we now look at Ezekiel 38, we know what happens sometime soon -- Russia and allied nations are going to launch a massive attack on Israel.

Though Ezekiel 38 doesn't mention Russia's allies, you can bet that they will be involved also, which is likely what leads to the prophecied destruction of Damascus.

WND: Prophesied destruction of Damascus imminent?

At the same time, Russia is going to be involved with attacks on the United States, the same attacks that I believe are going to start with Radical Islam.

I believe the following passage in Ezekiel 38 talks specifically of America:

Ezekiel 38:10-13 - " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land." Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?"

While most of Ezekiel 38 talks clearly about attacks on Israel (which God supernaturally protects, as prophecied in the Bible), I believe -- in the passage above -- God specifies America, when he says:

Ezekiel 38:11 - "You will say, 'I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people-all of them living without walls and without gates and bars."

Why do I believe this specifies America?

If you look at Israel, they are not a "peaceful and unsuspecting" people -- in fact the government of Israel is warning of war on all fronts:

YNET: Israel preparing for possible confrontation with foreign armies and terror groups on all fronts

Which brings us back to America.

America does not expect this.

Is the Anti-Christ in the Middle East?

I had a dream this morning, that was 'shown' to me. Meaning, I wasn't in the dream, but it was like watching something in a movie or on television.

In the dream, a man in traditional Middle Eastern robes was at a podium, in a cave, giving a heated speech to a large number of other Middle Easterners wearing robes.

The man giving the speech was clearly possessed by Satan. His face was contorted and his eye balls bulged from his head. I heard words said -- one of the words was "Chechnya" -- but I don't recall the other words.

Suddenly the man at the podium swung around, and marched off fast from the podium, and the dream ended.

About three weeks ago I had a similar dream that was also shown to me. Middle Easterners wearing robes were walking around outside, and a tall one was laying down in the dirt, on his back.

After a few seconds the tall one stood up, and looked toward me (I wasn't in the dream -- it was like watching this on television). Looking at me, he paused for a moment, and suddenly lunged toward me, like a snake making a strike.

I woke up with a start, believing the man to be completely demonized.

REFERENCE:
What does the Bible say about dreams and visions?

-----

After this morning's dream about the Middle Easterner in the cave possessed by Satan, I turned on the news.

Riots are taking place in Pakistan after yesterday's assassination of Bhutto, and the next story mentioned was that a new Bin Laden message is going to be released on the internet within the next 72 hours...

On top of that, today (Dec. 29) the New York Times published an indepth article about Osama Bin Laden alleged to be hiding out in Pakistan, and then named quite a few Pakistani militants who are reported to be in his ranks.

NY TIMES: With Bhutto assasination, Bin Laden and militants expand base in Pakistan

-----

* The day's not even over and I have to update this post.

Apparently that new Bin Laden video has been released sometime in the last few hours.

USA TODAY: Bin Laden promises to bring Holy War to Israel

Considering that he vows to bring Holy War to Israel, this Bin Laden video sounds Biblical.

If Bin Laden is in an alliance with Iran -- and Iran is in an alliance with Russia -- you can bet that Bin Laden is in an alliance with Russia also.

Which most likely puts us in the opening paragraphs of Ezekiel 38.

Are terror attacks on Israel in Bible Prophecy?

WND: Israel gets warned: Al-Qaida coming!

WorldNetDaily reports that Al-Qaida cells are preparing large scale attacks in Israel. Considering that Russia, Iran, Syria, and North Korea (who are alleged to be helping Hezbollah build bunkers alongside Israel) look to be in place for the prophecy of Ezekiel 38 to take place, it's possible that another well known prophecy (one said by Jesus, in fact) can help us understand what may be fast unfolding:

Luke 21:20-23 - "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

So, when we see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, we're told it's desolation is near (the Anti-Christ is reported to rule for 42 months, at the end of which Daniel reports that he comes into Jerusalem and sets himself up in the temple, and proclaims that he is God -- the event known as the 'abomination of desolation').

So, if Jerusalem is surrounded by armies -- which it currently is -- is it time for those in Judea to flee to the mountains?

Today, Judea is known as the "West Bank".

Considering Bin Laden's promise to bring Holy War to Israel (as reported two days ago by USA TODAY), and today's report by WorldNetDaily that Al-Qaida cells are entering Israel -- those in Judea (the West Bank) should seriously consider Christ's warning in Luke 21:20-23.

It might be time to flee to the mountains.

A better move may be to catch a plane and flee into Canada and head for the Canadian Rockies.

If you notice, Jesus didn't say which mountains those in Judea should flee to.

He only said "flee to the mountains".

In regards to the prophecy given on 2007Rapture.com, where Shelby Corbitt writes that she received a vision from God that told her that the rapture of the church would occur 2 1/2 years after she published her book -- which according to her site puts the rapture happening in 2007 -- I would like to say this:

What if God gave her this vision, and at that time planned on rapturing the church in 2007, however since that time he's decided to delay the rapture for whatever reason?

Consider this analogy:

What if your father promised to take you and some of your siblings to the beach, but these siblings were acting up and not behaving themselves at the level he wanted?

Isn't it possible he would have to delay the trip until the siblings that he planned to bring to the beach got their act together, and got themselves completely in line?

-----

Christians, let's get our acts together and get in line with God's demands for our love, repentance, and faith, as demanded from us in Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation.

That also goes for the 144,000 called, chosen, and faithful followers of Christ who are sealed before the Tribulation takes place and taken in the rapture of the church.

You need to be "blameless" and completely free of deceit, as reported in the Bible:

Revelation 14:3-5 - No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. These are those who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as firstfruits to God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.

So, if you're one of the 144,000 -- there are a multitude of future Christians waiting for you to bring them to Christ during the Tribulation.

Revelation 17:14 - They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.

This is a friendly reminder to the 144,000 that you need to be blameless and completely free of deceit, and pure to the Word of God, before the rapture of the church is going to take place.

God wants holiness from his children.

If he wanted holiness from the Israelites back in Moses time, you can bet that he wants holiness from his people today.

In fact, God took Moses life on Mount Nebo before he could enter the Promised Land for not upholding holiness among the Israelite people (Deuteronomy 32:48-52).

Holiness really is that important.

If you think that repentance is a "works salvation", and that we are only saved by the blood of Jesus Christ -- there's a good chance that you belong to one of the many lukewarm churches in modern-day America -- and you are going to be vomited out of God's mouth, as reported in Revelation 3:16.

Everyone wants to be saved by Jesus -- but not many seem truly willing to embrace repentance -- which means to turn away from wickedness.

LOOK AT WHAT JESUS SAID:

Matthew 7:13-14 - "Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it."

If repentance isn't important to salvation, then why are the majority of God's churches destined for the Tribulation, and only the Philadelphia, Sardis, and a few believers at Smyrna spared it?

Knowing that we are so close to the Tribulation and Rapture of the Church, what should we be teaching believers (and unbelievers) about salvation?

Please realize that Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation are likely placed where they are for a very good reason.

These chapters are Jesus Christ's last warning to the world to repent.

Listen to these warnings from Jesus! Shout it from the roof tops!

REPENT!

Blast it from the radio waves and the loud speakers of your schools and churches!

Shout this from your television studio -- the world as we know it is going to be destroyed for massive wickedness and there is going to be death and destruction on a level this world has never seen before.

Save yourselves from God's wrath!

IT IS COMING.

Iran making push into Nicaragua

The following link really lays out just how much is going on south of the boarder with Iran opening several embassies in Latin America, and Iran's Revolutionary Guard (in addition to Hezbollah militants) likely being in a position to enter the U.S. to launch attacks.

America and the division of Israel - A warning from Jews

From Israelinsider.com: "...Has America's time expired as the leading nation of the world? All the nations where Jews resided prospered when the Jews were treated well there. Egypt rose and then turned against the Jews and it fell. Babylon rose and then turned against its Jews and it fell. Greece rose and then turned against the Jews and it fell. Rome rose and then turned against the Jews and it fell. Spain rose and then turned against the Jews and it fell. The British Empire rose and then turned against the Jews and it fell.

All these once great powers lost their glory after declaring war against G-d by persecuting His Chosen People, the Jews. The present United States Government is now attempting to divide Jerusalem, destroy Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, and turn it into a Palestinian Terror State. Will this be the undoing of itself? Are we today, witnessing the beginning of the end of the Great American Empire?"

Come Out From Them and be Separate...

2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1 - "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

'Therefore come out from them
and be separate, says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you."
"I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.'

Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God."

Questions about Rick Warren

MarkLwrnc, I have a question for you.

In some of your blogs you seem to pick on mega-church preachers like Rick Warren... claim they are pushing a global peace.

...Why pick on Rick Warren so much who seems to be a true believer in Jesus Christ, that is, through him you can understand how to get saved yet you remain silent on individuals such as Ronald Weinland and the Church of God - PKG who preach a false Gospel?

-----

My Reply: My problem with Rick Warren is not with what he says he believes, but with what he's actually done.

His book, The Purpose Driven Life (currently the number one selling non-fiction book in history) is a false version of the Gospel.

As I've written in my articles, it distorts God's love and minimizes God's demands for repentance, and (though it's reported to have brought many to Christ), many if not most of these "Christians" are likely not saved because of the "lukewarm" teachings they're embracing in this book.

In churches across the world, pastors have put the Bible aside for a number of weeks to teach solely from Rick Warren's book, The Purpose Driven Life, and this has also happened in countless numbers of Bible study groups.

Rick Warren's program to train church pastors marketing methods to pack more people in to church -- called The Purpose Driven Church -- has trained over 400,000 pastors; most likely many if not most of the pastors have taken a liking to Rick Warren's lukewarm teachings in The Purpose Driven Life --

In the end, the damage has already been done.

What Rick Warren says on his website, or what he says when he's in interviews and what he says in magazines in my opinion is meaningless -- Rick Warren needs to pull his books from shelves, and then get on national television and tell readers across the world to burn his books -- and then he needs to write a new book that CORRECTS what he's pushed on the world with the The Purpose Driven Life, and that has heen taught to over 400,000 church pastors in The Purpose Driven Church.

But... these events are likely never going to happen.

So, like I said, the damage has already been done.

The Purpose Driven Life has sold over 30 million copies and is the number one selling non-fiction book in history.

Jesus Christ - The Lord of All Creation

While millions of Jehovah's Witnesses have been going from house to house, knocking on doors on several continents, someone else has been knocking on the doors of Jehovah's Witnesses, and his name is Jesus Christ.

JWs, are you gonna open the door and let him in?

If you've been following SOS (SecretsofSurvival.com), you know that I've written warnings about false teachers like Rick Warren and Joel Osteen, and others, and pointed out that they're doing a poor reading of the Bible, and are going to face God's wrath for distorting the Gospel.

JWs, please realize that if you're teaching that Jesus was only a man, and that Jesus isn't Lord, that you're doing a poor reading of the Bible, and distorting the message.

With all care, please consider what is reported on the webpage I link to below, that lists *tons* of Scripture that show without a doubt that Jesus was God in the flesh.

As a Jehovah's Witness, I'm sure you've knocked on a lot of doors, so you know what it's like when no one answers.

This time, Jesus is at your door knocking.

Bible verses that show Jesus is God

Let him in, JWs.

(If you've been paying attention to what's going on in the Middle East, to what's going on in the weather, and to the reports of terrorists crossing over the Canadian and Mexican borders and into the United States, it's probably not a good idea to procrastinate on this.)

Once you've accepted that Christ is Lord, now it's time to look at the teachings of Bible prophecy you follow, which reflect an extremely poor reading of the Bible.

Christ is going to do something really extraordinary, and most Christians know it as "The Rapture". Right before 'sudden destruction' takes place in the world (which is most likely when the 4th Seal of Revelation is opened) the faithful church is going to be 'caught up' into the clouds, and taken to the Kingdom of God, and the new world that Christ has gone away to prepare.

Matthew 24:27 - For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Instantaneous. At the speed lightning flashes across the sky from the east to the west.

Matthew 24:40-41 - Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

The Bride of Christ -- the faithful church, made holy and blameless without spot or blemish (as described in Ephesians 5:25-32 and again in Revelation 3:7-13) -- is not going to be on earth during the Tribulation.

The 144,000 called, chosen, and faithful followers will be making appearances here, under the command of Christ to make war against the forces of the Anti-Christ -- but the faithful church will be in the Kingdom of God.

That's what Daniel says. That's what Revelation says. Read your Bible, JWs.

Stop listening to anyone who's teaching you otherwise.

The King of Kings and Lord of Lords

(From the SOS message board:) One more thing to mention for Jehovah's Witnesses who are following this message board, and of course are hearing things that go directly against what they've been taught in their religion:

They've been taught that Jesus Christ was only a man, and that he was a spirit being created by God. This is probably easy for JWs to believe, because it sounds like truth.

If Jesus is the Son of God, then he was created by God, correct?

This is why it's so important to read the Bible, because the Bible is the Word of God, and reveals the true relationship between God and Christ.

Look at these two passages, one is from 1 Timothy and the other is from Revelation:

1 Timothy 6:13-16 - "...I charge you to keep this command without spot or blame until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, which God will bring about in his own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see."

Here, it is obvious that God is "the King of kings and Lord of lords", which of course we've known from the beginning of the Bible.

Now look at this passage in Revelation, that we know is talking specifically about Jesus Christ:

Revelation 19:11-16 - I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

If there are any Jehovah's Witnessess (this warning goes out to Mormons as well) on this message board, this should remove all doubts, as to who Jesus Christ is.

He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

He is our God and Saviour.

Titus 2:11-14 - For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Jesus Christ is God.

Nathan (who posts to this message board) pointed out an easy way to understand the relationship:

God, the Father

God, the Son

God, the Holy Spirit

It's important to understand this relationship, and believe it in your heart and mind, because it shows God that you've been reading the Bible, and that you've "put on the full armor of God" and accept his Word as 100% truth.

One of the reasons that Revelation tells us that we're blessed for reading it (it tells us twice), is most likely because this relationship between God and Christ becomes evident -- that Christ is also God.

If you read the entire Bible, and take the Word of God as 100% truth -- and follow what is taught -- you can rest assured that your salvation is secure, and your name is written in the Book of Life and there is a new name waiting for you in the Kingdom of God.

But if you do not take the entire Bible as truth -- and have fallen for false teachings introduced by others -- this may be your last opportunity to repent and turn away from the Synagogue of Satan, and come to the TRUTH -- before God's wrath begins on the nations.

You were created with free will. The decision is yours.

By the Word of God -- and only by the Word of God -- can you be saved.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2 - Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

World's Largest Collection of Sermons

I received an email from a reader, who told me that her church pastor had been caught by the congregation for taking sermons from Rick Warren's website, and then preaching them in church. When confronted, he was at first defensive, but then came out and apologized to the congregation. Rather than come up with his own sermons, it seems that the pastor found it easier to just copy sermons from Rick Warren, who gives them out to pastors around the world for free use.

That made me realize that the pastors of my church have it easy. They don't have to come up with new sermons every week because God has already provided these with the Holy Bible. Each week my church studies a new chapter of the Bible, in order, read aloud by the pastor. These are the most amazing sermons because it's simply the Word of God being spoken, as it appears in the Bible.

On top of that, the entire congregation can follow along in their own Bibles, which helps the Word of God sink into their brains, as they read the words that he's speaking from the pulpit.

If you're a church pastor, I encourage you to try something novel -- read solely from the Bible. Pick a book from the Bible -- for example the Book of Matthew -- and start with Chapter 1, and then make it a goal to read one or two chapters a week. As you're reading, pause and talk about important points.

You'll never have to download a sermon again; because the Bible is filled with thousands.

Mile-long UFO seen by dozens of witnesses across Texas

CNN: Texans report seeing UFO, fear end of days

"People wonder what in the world it is because this is the Bible Belt, and everyone is afraid it's the end of times," said Steve Allen, a freight company owner and pilot who said the object he saw last week was a mile long and half a mile wide. "It was positively, absolutely nothing from these parts."

Other than the UFO spotted over Chicago's O'hare Intl. Airport on Nov. 7, 2006, this mile-long UFO reported by numerous witnesses in the skies over Texas may be the most widely reported UFO yet.

Many Christians believe that the rapture of the church and the disappearance of true Christians from across the planet is going to be blamed on UFOs by non-believers.

Many believe that UFOs are most likely one of the false supernatural signs and wonders that the Bible reports Satan will deceive the world with, once God's wrath on the nations begins, and the Anti-Christ comes to power.

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 - The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

So, to whomever is reading this blog -- if Christians disappear, they weren't taken by UFOs.

They were taken by Jesus Christ, as promised in the Bible, to be spared from God's wrath that is coming over the world. See:

The UFO Conspiracy - Space Travelers or Demonic Deceivers?

Books: UFO: End-Time Delusion

(If you know any non-believers, please consider starting an email chain, and emailing them a copy of this blog. Even if they don't believe your warning about Christians disappearing in a rapture and that the forces of Satan are behind the whole UFO phenomenon, at least they've been told.)

Ephesians 6:12 - For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

The Third Seal of Revelation

I've written about the Third Seal of Revelation in past weeks. Today I want to take another look at it.

When I look at the description of the opening of the Third Seal, it's hard to tell if there's going to be a stock market crash, of if it simply reflects specific conditions in the world's financial markets.

If you look at this passage... There does seem to be something going on in the world's financial markets, but it doesn't seem to be that bad.

The oil and the wine appear to be ok. (If the stock market crashed, and we went into a depression, oil and wine would most likely both be affected -- fewer people would be spending money on either one.)

Looking at the passage above, wheat appears to be the only thing that's been affected, and it's described as being three times the price of barley.

That's interesting, because yesterday a news report stated that wheat supplies around the world are going down, which is driving up the cost of wheat to record prices.

WTOP: Wheat Hits Record on Supply Concerns

In the end, for those of you waiting for a stock market crash to represent the opening of the Third Seal of Revelation, that may not be what the Bible says occurs here.

If The Third Seal of Revelation is specific about the events it describes, then it appears that all that has to happen to represent the opening of the Third Seal of Revelation is for the price of wheat to go up -- which according to the link above, is happening right now.

I'm not saying for a fact that the Third Seal has been opened. I'm just saying that it may be hard to tell when it will be opened. Please note that when the Apostle Paul described the beginning of the Time of Wrath (Tribulation), he said:

1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 - Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

Most likely the "destruction" talked about by Paul refers to the opening of the Fourth Seal of Revelation -- when a quarter of the world's population is killed. In the passage above, Paul says that this will occur while people are "saying peace and safety" -- which doesn't sound at all like a society dealing with a major stock market crash and the conditions of a depression.

Conclusion: The Third Seal of Revelation may not represent a stock market crash. We may be nearing the opening of the Third Seal right now... it's even possible that we're already in it.

-----

One interesting note is that one of the reasons that wheat supplies are down in the world is because of the weather. As I've written recently on SurviveAnyDisaster.com, the weather has been changing faster than most people expected (there seems to be a larger number of severe storms across the planet).

By the way -- if you're concerned about the weather, and you're concerned about your family, put together an emergency kit, and store it in a backpack. Instruct your loved ones to keep it in their car (and slip a Bible inside). There are numerous links to emergency kits / survival kits on SurviveAnyDisaster.com.

Community Church Meeting: Raising End Times Awareness

This is mostly a recommendation to any church pastors who visit this website, and agree that the end times are fast unfolding.

Please consider using your influence as a church pastor to call a community meeting with the church pastors of other Christian (and Catholic) churches in your area.

The goal would be to raise awareness with area churches who are absolutely clueless to the fact that the end times are unfolding -- and clueless that 5 out of 7 churches are condemned by God in Revelation 2 and 3 -- and clueless that God's judgments (which the Bible reports are going to catch most of the world by surprise) look like they could begin at any time.

Perhaps sending out emails and letters (and even making phone calls) to as many churches as possible, would be a step in the right direction.

Send them to JoelRosenberg.com, the author of "Epicenter" ... Send them to SecretsofSurvival.com ... send them the information that you believe is pertinent, and tell them to pay attention to what's going on in the world.

Let them know that people from all walks of life are having dreams and visions and prophecies from the Holy Spirit, and reporting these on Christian websites, and in a number of churches.

Better than that, it would be great for church pastors (who believe that the end times are unfolding) to consider actually going in to other churches, and telling the pastors / priests to get their heads out of the sand and wake their congregations up to the prophecies of Matthew 24 and Ezekiel 38 and 39 -- and of course, Revelation.

(My parents go to a large Catholic church in the area I live, and (based on conversations with my parents) I'm taking a guess that their church is not warning about lukewarm faith and that God's judgements could begin at any time.)

I've thought about walking in to their church during the week and letting their church leaders know that they need to read Matthew 24 and Ezekiel 38 and 39, and definitely Revelation, and start paying attention to Middle East news -- but I'm sure they'd probably think I was an "end of the world" nut and maybe even call the police. (That's before telling them I've had dreams and visions from the Holy Spirit and seen demons in people, and dreamed of things before they've happened... If I said anything like this, I'm sure these lukewarm churches would definitely call the authorities.)

So church pastors... please consider making contact with lukewarm churches and even start holding meetings, if possible. Use your influence / reputation as a pastor to try to wake these churches up. I'm sure that God would not frown on this kind of communication. At the same time, the seed has been planted, so that when the seals of Revelation are opened, and the rapture does take place, and God's judgments finally begin -- these churches won't be as clueless as they might have been otherwise.

If these churches would be told that the Seven Seals of Revelation are possibly being opened right now , then they'll likely start to recognize that the events occuring in the weather and the earth are from God, and not from Global Warming.

Global Warming? It's the coldest winter in decades

(The Third Seal of Revelation appears to reflect events in the weather -- because bad weather around the world and failing wheat crops would reflect the price of wheat going up, as is said in Revelation 6:5-6).

And what about the Second Seal of Revelation?

Revelation 6:3-4 - When the Lamb opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.

There seems to be more and more violence in recent weeks, in different parts of the world, including two high profile assasinations (Bhutto/Hezbollah Chief).

So, has the Second Seal been opened?

If it hasn't been opened yet, it sure looks like it's about to be:

AFP: Iran predicts Hezbollah will destroy Israel

Pastors, please consider calling, writing, emailing, and visiting the churches in your community and surrounding cities; With your message to these churches, perhaps God will wake them up out of their complacency, and open their eyes to Bible prophecy and the beginning of God's judgements -- that truly look like they could begin at any time.

"Alaska... Lewis and Clark Trail... Ontario"

Though I mention having some prophetic dreams in the past, I generally don't like to write about dreams -- because most are probably just dreams.

Lately though it seems like there's been a lot more going on.

Anyway, today, right before I woke up, I had a dream that I was riding a mountain bike, between forest and road, while hiding out from vehicles that were in the area.

The dream came to an end when I stopped at a small store, and picked up a newspaper. Suddenly I either heard or read the words "Alaska... Lewis and Clark Trail... Ontario..."

Then I woke up.

(The reason I mention this is it's the third or fourth time in the last few days I've awoke to hearing words being spoken, and I think I need to share what I'm hearing.)

I got online to do a search, and quickly found that there are bike trails that cross the United States and Canada, that lead up to Alaska, through different parts of Canada.

Some of these trails use the Lewis and Clark Trail (and originate in the Mid West states), others run alongside railroad tracks, and others include back roads that criss-cross the continent.

I came across a website called Trails.com, which are the banner ads you now see across the top of SecretsofSurvival.

If you have friends and family in your area who you don't think are sincere about their faith (and are likely to be "left behind"), consider doing some research at Trails.com (or other websites, including books, that you can handout), and then letting them know what the trails are (for example, trails that follow railroad tracks) that lead out of your state and into Canada, toward Alaska.

Four days ago, my step-daughter had a dream where she walked downstairs, and was standing in front of a television, suddenly the television screen had the words... "The Rapture Coming Soon".

If you've been paying attention to the news recently, then you know that Gaza militants have been raining missiles down on Israel, and Israel is launching ground campaigns into Gaza.

If these assaults spread to the West Bank (formerly known as Judea), I think we're going to find ourselves in the prophecy of Luke 21, where Jesus said, "when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, those in Judea should flee to the mountains."

In the last four weeks, there have been earthquakes in Britain, Venezuela, Iran, Israel, and the United States, while at the same time the world's wheat supplies have been hurt, and because of that -- and apparently inflation -- the price for wheat is shooting up -- which reflects the opening of the Third Seal of Revelation.

Soaring food prices world wide imperil U.S. aid

The Third Seal of Revelation also reads, "...don't hurt the oil or the wine."

If we are now in the Third Seal, I take this to mean that while the severe weather in different parts of the world has hurt wheat supplies, it hasn't hurt supplies for oil or wine.

Sure, the price of oil might be at it's highest level, but the supplies are still the same, whereas the supplies of wheat are not the same.

Also, consider that Chavez -- who has for a long time threatened to hurt the U.S. economy by cutting off oil supplies that his nation ships to the United States -- has come out publically and said that he's not going to do this.

Chavez: no plans to cut US oil exports

Again, which appears to reflect the exact conditions of the Third Seal of Revelation.

When the Lights Go Out

Most likely, hundreds of thousands (perhaps millions) of Americans are likely to take part in a mass migration out of the cities when God's judgments begin on America, and these people are likely to migrate into the small towns and farming communities that dot Canada and I'm sure many will make it up into Alaska.

National Geographic recently aired a show that showed what would happen if the power to North America ceased, and there was absolutely no more electricity to power the computers that manage the nation's power grid.

Meltdowns would happen at nuclear power plants, releasing deadly radiation into the surrounding communities at much higher doses than the Chernobyl accident, and factories that use dangerous gasses would suddenly lose control of these gasses, which would also be unleashed, and flow across the land.

These areas of America would suddenly be very deadly places to live, and with this in mind... if the nation's power grid ever fails, there is likely to be a mass migration of millions of people from different parts of the nation, wandering out into the country side.

Most of these people should head north. I'm not sure which direction people who live in the southern states should head. Probably north as well. It's just going to be a lot more challenging. Especially if it's on foot.

It might be smart to have a few large storage tanks of gasoline for your car, stored in your garage, so if disaster hits, and gas stations fast sell all their fuel to people in a panic to flee the cities -- atleast you'll have the fuel to make one last run for it, and get as far north as you can before your car runs out of gas and you have to hit the road on foot.

It might be smart to keep a bike in the back of your car.

Or better yet ... finally put your faith in Jesus Christ and follow his teachings, repent of all sin, learn how to truly love and forgive people, and be taken in the rapture of the church.

1 Thessalonians 1:2-9 - For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ...

Will the "Sons of God" be revealed before the Fourth Seal of Revelation is opened?

In Chapter 6 of Revelation, the Seven Seals are opened, representing a time period that seems to cover the entire Tribulation / Time of Wrath.

Revelation doesn't say how much time passes between the opening of each seal, and I'm making a guess that there may be a different amount of time between each seals.

I think that the opening of the Third Seal may represent a period of time stretching a number of months.

When the Fourth Seal is opened, I think this is when the rapture of all Christians who meet the praises of the Philadelphia Church will occur (the "first fruits"), as well as the rapture of the 144,000 -- which Scripture seems to show as having the ability to return to earth to evangelize to the lost, as well as battle the forces of the Anti-Christ...

This is where it gets interesting:

Studying Scripture, it seems that the 144,000 may be called into action *before* the first rapture occurs, and before the Fourth Seal of Revelation is opened.

Look at this passage:

Revelation 7:1-3 - After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God."

In a recent post on the SOS message board, "Christian Soldier" pointed out that we're likely seeing the "beginning of sorrows" as described by Jesus, and I think this is reflected in the opening of the Second and Third Seals of Revelation.

I think that the severe weather happening in the world, is only going to become more severe during the Third Seal -- with actual "judgments" occurring after the 144,000 have been "sealed" in the passage above.

Now look at:

Romans 8:18 - The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

Notice that it only says "sons of God" and does not say "daughters". I think that this passage applies to the 144,000, and -- in an attempt to fill in the blanks of Bible prophecy -- I think that the 144,000 "sons of God" are going to be "revealed" after the Third Seal of Revelation is opened, but *before* the rapture of the "first fruits".

Which means that the 144,000 may begin their work evangelizing to the lost before the Fourth Seal is opened -- when a quarter of the world's population is killed.

This means that if we are now in the Second and Third Seals of Revelation, that across the earth the "sons of God" are going to be revealed or are even now being revealed... whatever that means exactly.

If this is the case ... I think it likely that we're going to see some destructive judgments begin in the earth (in regards to the weather, and possibly earthquakes) as the 144,000 are set into motion, in the different cities and towns that they live in across the planet.

In Acts 8:39, Phillip was "carried in the Spirit" to a different location, and the 144,000 may travel the earth in a similar fashion -- "raptured" from one location to the next.

Until the Fourth Seal is opened, and they are all then taken to Heaven. Then, in Revelation 14, they return to earth to evangelize / battle the Anti-Christ, led by Jesus Christ.

This seems to be repeated in Revelation 17:14.

-----

Well, this is all just a theory and I've been wrong before about things.

Essentially, I believe the 144,000 are going to be "revealed" before the Fourth Seal of Revelation is opened, which means that this could occur sometime this year -- if the Fourth Seal of Revelation is opened this year.

Whenever it happens, look for the 144,000 to be set in motion sometime beforehand. These "sons of God" seem to be hand-picked / trained followers of Christ, and there might be one or two in your town or church.

The common belief is that the 144,000 will be used to evangelize to the lost during the Tribulation, but if Revelation 17:14 is a literal statement -- look for these "sons of God" to be doing a lot more than just "evangelizing". They may be used for actual physical battle.

Revelation 17:12-14 - The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but who for one hour will receive authority as kings along with the beast. They have one purpose and will give their power and authority to the beast. They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings — and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.

No Pre-Tribulation Rapture?

In consideration of how the seals of Revelation are laid out, and believing that there are going to be a lot of tragic events building up to the opening of the Fourth Seal (when a quarter of the world's population is killed), I hope that many people will re-think their idea of a pre-tribulation rapture.

My official belief is that the rapture of the church will occur as the Fourth Seal of Revelation is opened, but that the church is going to see the beginning of the Tribulation, in the opening of the first three seals.

During this time we may be see a number of non-nuclear terrorist attacks on the West and a number of mass-killings.

The attacks leading up to the Fourth Seal will probably include mass shootings, suicide bombings, "dirty" bombs that spray radiation across an area, and a number of attacks on commercial airliners (there have been numerous "dry runs" of bomb-making materials at airports over the past few months, as reported in the news).

The mass shootings and suicide bombs will probably take place at shopping malls, schools, and sporting events.

Considering Al Qaeda's recent direct order to its terror cells to carry out attacks, these could start at anytime and carry on for a number of weeks and / or months, before NYC is finally attacked with a nuclear weapon (which is when I believe the rapture will finally take place.)

I believe that the "delay" in Revelation 10 (which I believe leads up to the rapture), will make a lot more sense after a number of weeks / months of terror attacks and probably a number of natural disasters.

Revelation 10:5-7 - Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets."

Revelation 10:11 - Then I was told, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings."

Failing to Teach Holiness Creates Complacency; Complacency Destroys Believers

It stuns me when I read an article or hear a sermon that doesn't stress how angry God is at the state of this world, and how angry he is at people who profess to be Christians, but fail to uphold HOLINESS ...

Even churches that believe we're living in the end times, and even churches that are teaching that Christ could come at any moment...

They're not telling people that God demands repentance... and it's most likely not being repeated in most churches, as much as it needs to be repeated.

God tells the churches that he's going to strike their children dead, because he searches hearts and minds (Rev. 2:23)...

These churches aren't telling people enough that the Bible teaches HOLINESS and that if our faith is not growing in HOLINESS we are wasting our time in church.

1 Peter 4:17-19 - For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And, "If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?" So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Please look at the passage above. Peter says that it's hard for the righteous to be saved.

Why would he say that? Probably because Jesus Christ's warnings in Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation to the entire church body and his warnings in Matthew 7 (to all believers) are true.

God is coming for a people that fears his wrath, and believes his Word, and lives in Holiness, that comes from reverent fear, and whole hearted love for God.

Holiness comes from loving God, and loving one another, and obedience to God's commands, and full belief in the Bible... full belief in the Truth.

Is this being taught in your church?

Are you teaching this to your children?

Next, look at how corrupt and twisted much of America has become -- are you warning your church?

Are you warning your children?

-----

Readers, please look at Revelation 3:8 - "I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name."

At a casual glance it seems to say that the Philadelphia Church has "little strength" ... as if they're not very strong ... for example, consider a large number of elderly people that are weak and frail ... that's the image that some readers get from that verse, but I don't think that's the correct image.

I believe there's a more dire warning here, and it relates directly to what Jesus says in Matthew 7:24-27.

Christ says that a true believer has a faith built on a rock, that weathers the storm.

For the Philadelphia Church, after the "storm" passes, it's my opinion that they have a "little strength" left, while the other churches have fallen to the wayside, because they have a faith built on the sand (they didn't have enough strength).

In other words, the Philadelphia Church -- rather than having "little strength" -- actually has incredible strength -- that comes from the Holy Spirit and following the teachings of the Bible, and applying these teachings in their life.

The Philadelphia Church is going to be spared from the hour of trial because they've read the Bible, and put their faith in Jesus Christ (and it's in their hearts, not just on their lips) -- they are the HOLY Bride that has been made spotless by the blood of Christ, poured out on them because they follow his teachings --

The Philadelphia Church has applied Christ's teachings in their lives with whole hearted love and complete trust.

The storm pounds their house. Finally, it passes by. The Philadelphia Church has a "little strength" left. But there faith has stood the test and they are still standing.

They have sought holiness, and their hearts are firmly in repentance, and they are going to be taken in the rapture of the church, while many other "Christians" are going to be left behind (and as I believe Revelation 10 portrays, there is likely to be a lot of bitterness when so many who believe they're saved find out that they have fallen short...)

The majority of believers (if we go by Chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation) are going to be left behind, to find out that God truly wants holiness, and that the Bible is right when it says no immoral, impure person will ever inherit the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:3-7 - But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.

The passage above proves without a doubt that there is a point in every believers' life that sin angers God, and that we need to flee from it, and we need to tell everyone to flee from it.

We are in the End of Days and God is about to judge this world for evil and hundreds of millions of people are going to die.

We shouldn't be ok with any amount of sin in our lives, because there is truly a cut off point, where God is going to look at a person's heart and decide that that person is immoral, or impure, or greedy...

God is always looking at our hearts.

If Revelation 10 describes the rapture, and if it is truly a "sweet in the mouth" and "bitter in the stomach" event -- there are going to be a lot of people who are going to find out that they had too much sin in their lives and not enough love and were rejected by Jesus.

For these believers, most likely many were satisfied that Christ's death on the cross was enough to get them into Heaven.

Instead, they should have read the Bible, and recognized that God calls all believers to holiness (because that is a theme repeated many times), and that "without holiness no one sees the Lord".

If you're reading this right now, please look at your faith, and look at the faith of your loved ones --

Do you live a comfortable life, completely satisfied that Christ's death on the cross is going to get you into Heaven?

I think that's dangerous, because you and your loved ones may slip into complacency without realizing it, and before you know it you may not have enough love, and you may have too much sin, and you are likely to fall short of the holiness that God wants from you.

Knowing the time is short, and knowing that many people are likely to learn the truth of the Bible the hard way, when they've been "left behind" on the day of the rapture, I think it wise that all of us look at our faith, and make sure that we can weather the storms of life, and the testing that God (and this world) puts us through, to see where we stand.

Where is our love at?

Where is our purity at? (Men, there's been a lot of explicit sex in the news in recent weeks -- how are you handling it?)

Where is our holiness at? (Are you truly loving others, without favoritism? Do you turn the other cheek and forgive again and again and again?)

Are you using the Bible to train yourself in godliness?

Are you taking advantage of every opportunity and every waking moment to overcome sin and are you being washed with the Holy Spirit and the grace that was poured out to us when Christ died for our sins?

He didn't just die for our sins -- he let himself be beaten and crucified so we would follow his teachings --

We should truly consider showing God how much we appreciate this by recognizing his call for HOLINESS, and then going for it with sincere determination and upholding it in others...

The Prophecy of Mystery Babylon the Great Unsealed?

As I wrote in a recent post on the SOS message board, many believe that Mystery Babylon the Great is a "future Rome", which is why not many Christians are that alarmed about the prospect of New York City being destroyed in a nuclear attack where millions of people are killed and many suffer horribly.

They're not thinking about it, because they're not hearing it being talked about, because most pastors and other believers who study Revelation, believe that Mystery Babylon the Great is Rome.

They have no idea that New York City may play a major part in 'End Times' Bible prophecy (specifically Revelation), and they have no idea that it may be prophecied to be destroyed in a nuclear attack as "judgment" from God for massive sin, where millions of people are killed, and America falls and loses it's place as leading superpower in the world...

CNN, Joel Rosenberg, and the Identity of Mystery Babylon

Yesterday, I posted a notice that Joel Rosenberg would be on CNN's Glenn Beck Show Friday, April 25, for one hour, talking about 'End Times' Bible prophecy.

I also wrote two posts that debate the belief of many Christians, that Mystery Babylon the Great is going to be a future Rome.

It turns out that I was wrong about Joel Rosenberg's beliefs on the identity of Mystery Babylon the Great. He stated on the Glenn Beck Show that he believes that "Babylon" in Iraq (which existed in ancient Biblical times) is going to arise once again, and prove to be Mystery Babylon from the Book of Revelation.

Small Uranium Shipments Equal Large Uranium Problem for United States

Fox News reports that the U.S. has yet to designate Venezuela as a state sponsor of terror, but that may soon change:

Fox News writes:

"Chávez disregarded the US State Department report on global terrorism and now according to reports, US Intelligence officials believe computer files tie Chávez to the rebel Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC)."

FARC, as you know, was caught with uranium -- which can be used for anything from a small scale dirty bomb, to a larger suitcase nuclear weapon that can destroy a city.

UFOs, Dennis Kucinich, and Demons

Much of the world that doesn't believe in God, seems to believe in aliens and UFOs.

A large number of people from around the world are reported to have had an alien abduction "experience".

UFOs have been reported in the news more and more in recent years, with sightings occuring over the Chicago O'Hare Intl. Airport in 2006 (with reports making CNN), and then over Phoenix, AZ. which was even backed up by the mayor.

Dennis Kucinich, an early candidate in the Presidential race, came out last year and said that he's witnessed a major UFO event.

Will Elijah and Moses return to Earth as the Two Witnesses?

In Revelation 11 God unleashes the Two Witnesses on the Earth during the Tribulation.

In past months I've read a number of emails and articles written by people with different beliefs on the identity of the Two Witnesses, and I think my pastor hit it on the head when he shared that he believes Moses and Elijah themselves are going to return to earth as the Two Witnesses.

The real Moses and the real Elijah.

Wow... how would that be for encouraging the spread of Christianity during the Tribulation, to be told that Moses and Elijah were on earth proclaiming the Gospel and striking the land with powerful signs from the Bible?

Revelation 11:3-4 - And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

Report: Russians raided Israeli airfields in Georgia that were to be used against Iran

"UPI's Arnaud De Borchgrave is reporting that one of the reasons that Russia started a war with Georgia last month was as a pretext to raid two airfields that Tbilisi allowed Israel to use as forward bases for an attack against Iran's nuclear facilities."

Author Joel Rosenberg (who writes commentary on the prophecies of Ezekiel 38 and 39) has warned us to watch for headlines where Russia starts making aggressive moves against Israel. According to the report at the link above, the invasion of Georgia seems to include exactly that -- aggressive moves against Israel, in that Russia seized a number of Israeli drones in a raid on the facilities where the two airfields are located in Georgia, which Israel reportedly planned to include use of in any attack on Iran.

Looking for Ways to Serve in the Community

I received an email recently, asking why the blog hasn't had any new posts since April. I apologize to readers who have been following the blog in the past, that it has not been updated for a while now. The tasks in my life have changed quite a bit since the early days of this site, when I had more of an open schedule.

For a number of months now, however, I've consistently had a lot of things on my plate, and thankfully a few of those things have been the opportunity to serve and minister in the community where I live.

I'm writing this post now just as encouragement for believers to get out and serve in the community where they live. Call up local food banks and community outreaches and ask if they know of anyplace (like soup kitchens or homeless shelters) that need volunteers.

Keep your eye open for Christian ministries (like the Salvation Army) that are running these outreaches / food banks, and of course pray for the Lord's leading. Keep in mind that God may put you in a non-Christian outreach, just so you can bring the the gospel into that outreach. Sure, you might not last long there -- once you start speaking the Kingdom of Christ -- but praise God, because that's part of his path for your life also.

So, what about all my warnings that the end times are likely taking place right now? Watching news headlines I continue to believe that more and more we are approaching the coming of Jesus Christ for his faithful bride. I also believe that the Holy Spirit is preparing to move in the Body of Christ in a way that has not been seen since Old Testament times. Think of Samson. Think of Elijah. Think of Daniel. Think of Saul (before he fell from God's grace). Think of David.

I believe that the 144,000 are going to play a major factor in the end times harvest of souls and are likely to be "unleashed" as God's judgments begin over the earth.

Where there is murder and mayhem taking place during the Tribulation, God may have one of these 144,000 close at hand, to put an end to specific terror attacks (as some of these are occuring) and rescue those from harm, whom God intends to be rescued.

All praise and glory to God for every good work that will take place -- and every person that is rescued from harm -- and every person that is brought to saving faith in our Lord and King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please raise up your children, Father! Let us preach the gospel! Let your prophecies take place! This world aches for your Word and needs to see your power displayed and this world needs to be brought to it's knees. Lord, please sound a battle cry! Bring the walls of Jericho down that surround the hearts of people who refuse to follow your Word. Destroy these walls Lord, please!
